We had an amazing private snorkeling trip. The captain was incredibly kind and attentive, especially to our 4-year-old. He was always helping, watching out for our child, and making sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. It really allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend!

It is an amazing tour. We snorkled and saw beautiful coral, many fish, black eagle rays and swam with sharks! Our captain knew where to go to see everything! Amazing day!

We had a fantastic excursion swimming with manta rays, eagle rays, storm g rays, sharks, and the most beautiful coral we have ever seen. Tina, our guide asked what we wanted to see and knew just where to take us. We had a truly magical day!

Had a great trip going all around Bora Bora by boat. Our guide took us to some great snorkel stops. The corral garden he took us to was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Tipuna was fantastic! I would ask for him again if we ever go again. He took care of us the whole time and made sure we got to see all the things that were important to us. I highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic experience all the way around! My husband had injured himself the day before so he was unable to swim. Our guide was so helpful! He made sure that we were still able to experience the beauty of Bora Bora! I swam with sharks and rays and our guide dove in when we passed a large turtle and brought him to the side of the boat for us to meet! The turtle wasn’t happy, but we were thrilled and enjoyed watching him scurry off into that beautiful sea green water. We hovered above some incredible coral beds and found a large school of black manta rays. But as beautiful as this island is, it was our guide who made it so special! How many captains would serenade you on his ukulele one minute and share stories of his decades on Bora Bora the next? Thank you for a fantastic experience that we’ll never forget!

What a beautiful afternoon with sunshine, sharks, stingrays, fish galore, and colourful coral. Our boat captain was Arii. He was super easy-going and informative - very nice! Swimming and snorkeling all over the lagoon was amazing. We had the best time of our lives! The lagoon is so beautiful it could possibly bring tears to your eyes.

Great experience! Everybody in the family loved it! The captain took us to a few great places to snorkel and helped us find fishes. The view is amazing! We had a great time with our kids!

Great tour! Went to the must see spots and some lesser known spots. The captains know how the animals move with the current and position you to snorkel with them. Saw mantra ray, eagle ray, black tip shark, sting ray, and many fish.

Ken our Captain was awesome. Probably the best snorkeling I have ever done. Very special day for my wife on her birthday! The Sharks and Stingrays were awesome!

What a treat! Malaki was our guide. Prompt pick up and then off to the coral garden. He was friendly, a great communicator and patient as we navigated gear and boat. Then it was off to see the rays - eagle and then manta. Next it was black tipped reef sharks and more rays. Then another coral garden to round the trip. The time flew by. It was great fun. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour! Our guide brought us to several remote areas free from the public tours so it was just us snorkeling in the water! And we definitely saw things that we did not see during our public tours!! Highly recommend a private tour with La Plaga!!

Thank you Ken!! You helped make this day unforgettable! Ken asked exactly what we wanted to do and took us to the places we wanted to go. I'm not a very strong swimmer, and Ken made sure to always help me back to the boat when I got tired.

I booked this because my husband and I were not super comfortable with snorkeling but Ken made us feel so comfortable that we ended up swimming with stingrays, sharks and eagle rays. He even led us through a huge coral reef with colorful fish everywhere. Absolutely perfect.

This was a great tour!! Ken was the best!! He took us to feed sharks and rays. Also took us to a coral garden and it was fabulous!! Then we were able to tour the entire island!! Ken was so nice and a great guide!!

We arrived a bit late due to our tender delay, but , Captain Glen was there to meet us in his orange boat. There was a tad bit of confusion as our directions said to "meet " the captain at the dock. We didn't know if he was arriving by vehicle or boat. We asked the lady who worked in the tourist office and she said to wait for a truck. One of our party members roamed around the dock and finally found Glen at the far end in his boat. After boarding, we had a most fantastic morning on the boat just the 4 of us! The coral gardens were our favorite!!! We also enjoyed swimming with the sharks and rays. We stopped to see a huge group of eagle rays lastly. Fun and enjoyable trip in the lagoon. Book this, you won't be disappointed.

He was an AMAZING tour guide!!! We wanted to see things and move quickly. He took us to swim with the sharks, stingrays, manta rays, AND eagle rays. We snorkeled and saw the most beautiful fish and coral reefs. Is five stars the highest I can go?!?

This private tour was excellent. We needed a transfer from the st Regis to the Conrad and decided to go with a private tour along with it. Ken was great he first took us to see the eagle rays and we snorkeled with a school of them. Then he took us to what they call the aquarium where the I love bora bora sign is in the ocean which was great see a lot of different fish. Then went to the bora bora beach club for a quick cocktail and beer and finished with some snorkeling with the black tip sharks. I would highly recommend. This was the highlight of our trip

Outstanding morning of snorkeling with Ken! We especially liked that he guided the way through the coral garden by swimming with us. Loved the variety of fish there and the chance to see black tip sharks, manta rays, and eagle rays at various stops.

What an experience!!! Ken was our guide and our first stop did not disappoint. We were surrounded by black tip sharks and loved every minute of it. We also saw sting rays, and a few other fish. It was a rough day water wise, so he took us on a boat tour around the island. Bora Bora is so beautiful. Ken was knowledgable and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Teiva, our captain, provided us with an unforgettable experience. We were able to snorkel with giant manta rays, a family of eagle rays, stingrays, blacktip sharks, and fish in a beautiful coral garden. The manta rays were the highlight of the trip and easily the size of our entire boat. We were lucky that at all locations we were near only one other small group, despite traveling during peak season. Teiva was incredibly skilled and able to find the rays easily from the boat. Very thankful to see Bora Bora's marine life and the extra cost of the excursion was well worth it.

Swimming with Manta Ray, snorkeling with a huge pod of eagle rays and snorkeling in a beautiful coral reef area.
This was especially nice since it was just me and my husband. We enjoyed having the boat to ourselves.

This excursion was the highlight of our trip! Tubuna was our guide and he was amazing! His 35 years of experience on the island that he is so passionate about was awe inspiring! His generational knowledge came from his own family history, as well as that of the ancestors that loved and protected the island of Bora Bora's natural resources and marine life. There are simply no words to accurately describe the beauty that we experienced on this 3 hour trip. Tubuna took us to locations where my husband and I were the ONLY 2 people in the sea to experience the black tip sharks and rays. We could see other tour boats, but they were off in the distance, and as Tubuna told us many times, "You are in my office now." The very best part of the tour was when he got in the water with his mask and fins and served as our in water guide through the stunning coral gardens. Because he know exactly which paths to navigate us through the maze of the garden, we saw FAR more that we ever could have on our own. This is a day that neither of us will ever forget. Heaven on earth and under the sea!
