Beautiful boat. Great guide who sang and played ukulele for us. Incredible multiple snorkel spots. Gorgeous colors in the coral garden abundant with many types of fish. An incredible swim with reef manta! Dolphins and eagle rays. Highly recommend this tour. A very special experience.

What an incredible snorkeling tour! We had such an amazing experience and saw manta rays, a fever of 20+ eagle rays, tons of beautiful tropical fish, blacktip reef sharks, and stingrays. The amount of marine life we encountered was unbelievable!
The entire experience was absolutely unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of our trip. We had a great time from start to finish and would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bora Bora!
Really great experience, stopped at 4 different spots, really knowledgeable guide, saw the coral garden, manta rays in 2 spots and eagle rays. Would recommend!
I had an incredible time on this snorkeling tour, largely thanks to our guide who was exceptionally patient and kind. We visited 3 spots. We saw meta ray, eagal ray, coral and tropical fish. I am not confident in swimming in sea. The guide will check with everyone if he/she is comfortable about swimming in sea. Since I am a bit nervous about swimming in the open ocean, the guide went above and beyond by pulling me along with a life ring the entire time and constantly checking in on me with, "Is everything okay?" This made me feel so safe and allowed me to truly enjoy the tour.
Additionally, we completely forgot to bring towels, but they kindly provided us with some to dry off afterward. They were also incredibly patient and happy to answer all of our questions about marine life.
I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone, especially beginners or those who might be hesitant about swimming in the sea!
The guide Terai was spectacular. The weather was not good but he kept trying to find Eagle and manta rays. The Coral Gardens were magnificent. I managed the ladder which was smaller than I expected.
Amazing experience! Tour guide took us all around the island, told us some history/fun facts, and knew all the good spots for fish, manta rays, and eagle rays. Highly recommend.
We took the afternoon tour the day after it rained. Our group of 7 (including the captain) stopped by three spots around the island, to see manta rays in the nearby underwater canyon, the coral garden, and eagle rays. Unfortunately only saw one lone eagle ray after quite a few minutes to boating around searching. The captain spoke in both French and English and explained well what we were doing. He was mindful of the less experienced swimmers in the group which was very thoughtful and needed. Overall had a great time.
Highly recommend this half-day snorkeling tour in Bora Bora! Our guide, Wilson, was incredibly patient and experienced. He took us to multiple amazing spots where we saw stunning coral, tons of tropical fish, eagle rays, stingrays, and sharks. The entire experience was fantastic and well-organized. 5 stars all the way!
Must do in bora bora, and good value as well. Also agreed to dropped us off at different hotel to transit. The tour is very good in terms of the spots that we went to and the value is good as well. We saw big manta rays and groups of eagle rays. High recommend!
Amazing small group tour.
Lots of Rays
Great guide Vincent.
Managed to visit places before larger boats which was perfect.
Tieri, the guide, was great! He was professional, informative, and helpful. We saw eagle rays, a manta ray, and snorkelled at the coral gardens. He offered a lot of options for snorkelling. This activity is good for all levels.
The experience was incredible. Rudolf, hopefully I wrote it right, is an incredible and knowledgeable person. He took us to the Manta Ray cleaning station as first stop. We saw Manta Rays and eagle rays. Secondly he took us to the Eagle Ray playground where we saw few swimming in deep water. Last stop was the coral garden. He drop us in a great and safe spot. He explained carefully where to swim and cautioned us about the strong current, guided us to a safe spot. He explained the history and the nature of the island while driving the boat around Bora Bora, stopping for taking photos.
It is in a motorboat with 6 people plus Vincent, not like a big catamaran, like I was expecting. But it was great.

Thank you for your review Howard. We are very happy to hear that you had a great time with Vincent and enjoyed the experience.
Our snorkeling tours are designed as small group experiences on motorboats with a maximum of 6/7 guests in order to keep the experience personal, comfortable and flexible compared to larger grouped catamaran tours. Smaller groups also help minimize disturbance to marine life, which often creates calmer encounters and better wildlife viewing opportunities.
Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you again in Bora Bora.
Kindest regards from the team at H2O.
Outstanding tour! Terai, our guide, was knowledgeable, patient, and so kind! We learned a lot and saw so much!
Unfortunately we had a rainy day with significant swells. It certainly was no fault of the wonderful guide. Vincent’s enthusiasm, skill, and love for Bora Bora made the trip. He is 5 star. We didn’t get to see a lot due to the weather.
GREAT DAY Snorkelling in very clean and clear water. We swam with so many colourful fish. Excited to get so close to giant Manta Rays and Sting Rays. The disappointment was the sea was to rough to dive with the Turtles and Sharks
Operator was on time but a bit disorganized. We did see lots of tropical fish and swam with a few black tip reef sharks. Bring your own snorkeling equipment because their snorkeling set provided was in sad shape (masks like childs one and leaked, only ONE life vest for 10 people & that was old and not good). Also, bring water shoes, as the ground is rocky.
Excellent communication, reliability and 3 fun snorkel stops— all great. No problems.
Saw many different types of marine life and got to circle the whole island and learn about it.
Three snorkeling stops this afternoon in the lagoon off Bora Bora, run by a captain who was originally French and is now, correctly, French Polynesian. He knew exactly where to go and exactly what he was looking at when we got there — not the scripted enthusiasm of a tour guide, but the specific knowledge of someone who actually lives inside this ecosystem and wants you to understand why it matters.
The speedboat circuit around the island set the table — volcanic peaks, that impossible lagoon color, vantage points you don’t get from shore. Then three separate sites, each with its own character. Coral formations in full health, fish doing fish things in every direction. And then the things you can’t plan for: a manta ray moving underneath us like it had nowhere particular to be, and a moray eel threaded through the coral reminding everyone that this isn’t a theme park.
Each stop earned its place. Nothing redundant. The afternoon was structured the way a good argument is structured — each section building on the last, the conclusion obvious in retrospect.
Our guide, Vincent, was very knowledgeable of the area, well connected and experiences. Knew where to go considering windy conditions and locations of rays for that day.
Great way to whizz the whole main island doing a lap in one morning whilst seeing beautiful animals and coral. Swimming with a manta ray and in the coral garden were both the key highlights.
Amazing marine life. Saw Manta Rays, Eagle Rays and coral garden. Knowledgable and kind guide. 10/10 experience. Would book again.

Thank you Eva Marie, You have been especially lucky on that day as you came when the Mantas where doing a mating ballet (11 of them).
This is something we do not see on a regular basis and even our guide Wilson came back so happy that he was there :)
Bora Bora is a jewel !!!
Kindest regards
David
Outstanding trip - we saw the eagle rays and the manta rays and our ship captain personally guided us through the coral reef. Swimming with the rays, particularly the manta ray was magic. Vincent and his helper Ro did a great job ensuring that everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. So glad we signed up for this one!
A magical getaway into the underwater world. Just us and one other couple. We say manta rays, eagle rays, reef sharks, and tropical fish in the corals. Highly recommend. Very relaxing and fun!
Rudolph is nice guide, great boat. Very small group, 6 people. Our favorite were munta ray, and coral garden.
It's a fantastic experience boating around the main island. We swam with a mantaray and found eagle rays. The coral reef experience was amazing!
This was a great tour but be aware that it involves swimming in deep water. They offer life jackets and flippers, take them. You will see Manta Rays, Eagle Rays, and tons of other fish. It was great but you will need to be able to swim some distance.

Ia orana Barbara,
Thank you so much for your feedback, really glad you enjoyed the tour :)
You are absolutely right-being comfortable in the water definitely makes the whole experience even better (and safer too!). When we go looking for manta rays, it's not always just a "jump and they are right here" kind of moment... sometimes it requires a bit of swimming to meet them !
And as we like to say, it's not a zoo-these are wild and free animals, which is exactly what makes the experience so special !
We are and always will be happy to help and support anyone who's a bit less confident in the water, but yes, you are right to warn the community interested that being a little at ease and willing to put in a small effort really helps to get the most out of it :)
We really appreciate your feedback :)
Thanks a lot for coming with us. We hope to see again soon
Warm regards
David
Great snorkeling experience, we had very friendly and knowledgeable guide and captain. We saw very vibrant sea life with lots of rays, colorful fish and corals.

Hello Erick. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us this wonderful review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your excursion with us and we hope to be able to welcome you back at some time in the future! Until then, we wish you all the very best. Kindest regards from the H2O team.
This was our best excursion in French Polynesia during our 10 day cruise. Our guide, David, and assistant, Rau, met us at the cruise port. We quickly got onto the comfortable speed boat and began our tour around the island. David provided us with a wealth of knowledge, not only about Bora Bora, but also about the marine life, the coral reefs, the motus (small islands), and so much more. The snorkeling was the best we have ever experienced and we have been to the Great Barrier Reef! After visiting the coral gardens, we went to another area and followed a group of 11 rays. It was everything we could ever have dreamed about. Safety was stressed throughout our tour. I would highly recommend this experience!

We wish you all the very best for the future and hope to see you again in Bora Bora!
Kindest regards from the H2O team.
Rudoph (Rudie) did a wonderful job of not only transporting us and guiding us but also educating us on this snorkeling adventure. He sincerely cares about the sea life and ecosystems as well as his passengers and their experience. We learned a lot from him and saw some incredible rays and fish.

We had a very personal service all the way. We arrived at the port from our cruise ship and were met by Aimee, the owner. The beautiful speed boat arrived on time and Rudy the captain took us straight off to see Manta Rays and then later Eagle Rays. He then took us to see the spectacular coral garden. He had all the equipment if you needed any and gave us as much time as we wanted in each location. We would highly recommend this company.
