We had a fantastic day. It was exactly what I had hoped for and our tour guide was fantastic. She was a young girl, and her name was UMI. She was so confident and knowledgeable. It was a joy to be with her. I would highly recommend this tour. We spent a month in Polynesia and this was our favorite day. We went to the Manta ray cleaning station, the coral Gardens near the airport and swim with eagle rays.

It was as promised! Probably the best excursion of our cruise so far. We observed Spotted Eagle Rays, Manta Rays, Black Tipped Sharks and a coral reef that gave a wide variety fish including an octopus, stonefish, and colorful fish and coral.

We had an absolutely amazing time on the Reef Discovery tour! Our family, from grandparents to kids, loved every second of it. The highlights were definitely swimming with the manta rays, eagle rays, stingrays, and even lemon sharks—but the magic moment was finding a seahorse in the coral garden!
A huge thank you to our guide, who was incredibly attentive and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, especially the non-swimmers in our group. It made all the difference for the grandparents and little ones to be able to enjoy this experience without any worry.
It’s not often you find a tour that perfectly balances adventure with safety, but this one nailed it. Highly recommended for families

Mana is an excellent guide. He knew all of the good locations. We saw three manta rays multiple times up close. We swam with sharks, stingrays, and lots of reef fish. He went to swim with us to keep us safe.

Great small group water activity & lovely snorkeling! Our guide Mana was friendly, safe & had good tips for we 4 adults. He also pointed out lots of sites/resorts along the way. Very nice/clean boat with a strong ladder for getting back into the boat easy too! We’d def return to this excursion & company; very easy to coordinate our pier pick-up. Thanks again Mana!

This excursion included 3 stops: an area that manta rays swim, a large and natural coral garden, and shallow waters with black tip reef sharks and stingrays.
The experience is a few hours long. Our driver, Tino, and his partner were amazing guides. They showed us exactly where the manta rays were going to be and gave us ample amounts of time at each location. They provided great commentary, drinks, towels, and high quality snorkeling equipment.
I had an amazing time!! Highly recommend.

The manta rays and eagle rays are a must see! This tour was totally worth it. The snorkeling spot we went to had a great coral garden to see a lot of different fish.

Great snorkling experience, swam with manta rays (huge!!), eagle rays, and a coral garden that contained a variety of water life - very colorful views through clear water.

We had an amazing day, we saw manta rays, we went snorkeling in one of the most beautiful coral gardens I’ve ever seen, and we saw leopard rays. It’s been two weeks since our excursion and we’re still talking about it. Highly recommend!

The best thing we have done in Bora Bora so far! Our guide Fabian was fantastic. He knew where to go, we got to see all 3 different kinds of rays (manta ray, sting ray and eagle rays), swam with the sharks, and he even jumped in to show us some beautiful things in a coral garden he called the “aquarium”.

This is a top rated excursion. I booked many months ahead of our trip with Viator. The meeting point and time was confirmed. On the evening prior to our excursion I opened the booking itself to double check the details. All was in order. It was late since we spent the whole day on an excursion, then showered and went out for dinner.
The next morning 30 minutes prior to the arranged meeting time I noticed a message in the Viator inbox. The message required us to go to another meeting point and be there 45 minutes earlier than the time arranged. The meeting point was 15 min walk from the original arranged spot. We could not make it. The booking itself still showed 9am and the meeting point originally agreed.
The boat left without us and then Reef Discovery did not want to reschedule or refund. I was in tears since we only had a few days in BB. I contacted Viator and only then did the operator agree that we can join a tour the next day. The operator must realise customers are on holiday, they ARE NOT WATCHING THEIR IPHONES 24/7 and they don’t have connectivity 24/7. You had months to arrange an earlier meeting time and a different meeting point. It was unfair to do this at the last minute and cause me stress on my expensive holiday. I had to rearrange plans I had for the next day. I had many excursions booked and none of the operators did this. Get organised.
Needless to say, I loved the excursion itself. Bora Bora is terrific.

We loved our tour with Reef Discovery! It hit all of the highlights we were hoping to see in Bora Bora. We snorkeled with a Manta Ray for over 30 minutes, snorkeled with a pod of eagle rays, and swam through the beautiful coral gardens. The boat was comfortable and the tour group was a nice size.

The whole trip was comfortable and well-organized, and our guide Alu (sorry if misspelled) was amazing.
We got to see manta rays, eagle rays, baby sharks, and beautiful small fish—all thanks to his great guidance.

First stop was turtles in the bay at the Saint Regis. Then we found a school of manta rays. The coral Gardens was next. Niko took us on a short guided tour and then let us swim independently in the coral Gardens for quite some time and then he said he would pick us up on the way out so we got to drift all the way down the coral Gardens, where he was waiting for us That was great. Then we saw the Eagle rays in the deeper water and on the way back we had a fourth stop where we saw the sharks and the stingrays great job Niko.

The weather is not very nice and there was some issues with the boat engine, so we spent some time waiting in boat with rain and wind, but the tour itself is very nice and can see lots of fish and plenty of time to snorkel

Highlight of the trip. Our guide Niko was amazing. Loved his passion for the ocean and how he taught us. We saw 3 manta rays, 19 eagle rays and dozens of sharks/sting-rays. Definitely recommend.

Kevin was our guide and we felt so lucky to get him because he knows the waters well and respects the ocean and creatures within it! We saw manta rays, sting rays and eagle rays. The rainbow reef was the most beautiful reef we’ve ever encountered. Kevin was extremely gentle and patient with our 8&9 year old boys. They felt safe and supported while on this amazing adventure. Bonus points were listening to Kevin play on his ukulele during some of our trip. His voice was magical! 10/10 all the way around. Thank you Kevin for making our bora bora trip even more magical with this experience

This trip was amazing! We saw such beautiful coral, clams with vibrant colors and SO MANY colorful and interesting looking fish! We saw huge manta rays, eagle rays and black tip sharks. Our guide was very knowledgeable, courteous and super funny. Very nice guy! It’s a pretty easy skill level. I highly recommend this excursion!

It was absolutely amazing. Our guide Noe was fantastic and led us through the coral garden with such ease. It was very important to him that we see everything including showing us the coral tentacles. He knew where to go for us to see the Manta Rays and Eagle Rays. Would definitely recommend this tour as a must do.

What a wonderful excursion! We saw two Manta Rays at the cleaning station. A big group of Eagle Rays (ca. 30 or more) in cristal clear water! We stopped at a wonderful coral garden with „Christmas tree“ fish and lots of others, also with a huge number of colorful clam. We even did an extra stop at another coral garden where we saw the stone fish and a huge sea urchin and more! What a day - if you have the chance, go for it!

Went yesterday - the lagoon was really stirred up and literally " overflowing" due to storm.We only went snorkeling around motu by the airport - the coral was nice, but not much fish . The Capitan kept driving the boat in rough ocean to various sights, just to prove to us, that it was too dangerous to get in and the sights were closed. An experienced tour provider should have recognized it and cancelled the trip. As I understand the animal sightings are not a guarantee, but given the status of the ocean it was predictable. I felt like a stupid tourist taken advantage of...On top of it I saw the Capitan secretly feed the fish bananas and tossing a skin overboard after telling a fellow passenger they didn't allow feeding fish -double stands...You can see mantas at their cleaning station snorkeling right off the shore. Disappointed not with not seeing mantas, but with poor judgement of the provider.

Nice little motor boat, only 7 guests, not crowded.
Too bad we had a very strong current, so there were almost no fish and also no stingrays and mantas. The second coral garden was unable to reach, swimming with sharks was not possible because of the current. They should have canceled the tour. Nui and his team (and all other boats) tried to do its best, but no chance.
Better to call the day off or asking, if a boat trip without snorkeling would be ok too
