We was scheduled and for the self drive boats. The weather was bad so we rescheduled for the next day. They canceled out our rescheduled date they said because of weather. The weather was beautiful. We were very disappointed

Waters were 20 mile a hour winds both days and they refused to refund us even though it was unsafe. Poor customer service.

On the original date of your booking, weather conditions were monitored carefully. While there were some winds in certain areas, the navigation zone for your activity — located on the opposite side of your accommodation — remained safe and operational, and our boat rentals proceeded without issue.
For your comfort, we offered to postpone the activity to the following day, when conditions were fully suitable. Unfortunately, we did not receive your confirmation to participate on the rescheduled date.
Safety is always our top priority. When weather genuinely prevents safe operation, we make the decision to cancel and arrange refunds for our guests. This was not necessary in your case.
We regret that this situation caused you dissatisfaction and hope this clarifies the circumstances.

We were in one of the small boats. I was a great experience as we got to snorkel at the coral gardens and see dome rays and a black tip shark. Please note: Getting in and out of the boat is NOT easy. Also even though the boat has a sun shade you won't be covered most of the time. Wear suncreen and long sleeves.

It was better than I thought. We had bad weather the day booked and the company suggested we change our dates, luckily we were coming back to Bora Bora and was able to pick a better weather day. This would not be fun in poor weather conditions. They picked us up at the port from our cruise boat. Checked us in, went over the rules, and suggested route for 1/2 day. Which was coral garden, eagle rays, and they suggested a beach but we stopped a 2nd time at the coral garden. The basic boat is under powered so you can't go very far, and if there's strong wind you'll be in trouble. They will give you a tracker and cell phone incase of trouble. The only complaint about the boat is the small ladder which will be a problem for many people. The lady at the desk said our time started when we leave the beach but the guys giving us the boat gave us an earlier time so we ended up coming back early but then waited a while for other people also taking the shuttle. FYI. If you have a boater's license you can upgrade the engine size.

My wife and I rented the boat for 2 separate full days while in Bora Bora. We enjoyed the freedom of checking things out at our own pace. They provided a cooler and swung by the local market before checking in, so we grabbed sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. We brought our snorkel gear and floaty’s to relax on as we anchored. The only difficult part is you have to be able to climb in and out of the small boat and ladder. If you’re agile and enjoy adventuring on your own. I’d recommend renting these for a full day.

Driver picked us up close to our Airbnb and told about the island interesting facts. They told us where to find eagle rays , coral garden and how to navigate. Nice company and friendly staff. I will go again with them.

We had a wonderful time! Really enjoyed the freedom to go where we wanted and do whatever we wanted on our timeline. Boats are not easy to climb into so you need to be strong enough to haul yourself up. Unique experience and highly recommended!!

It was one of the best experiences in our life. The staff was incredible nice and helpfull. They explained everything, to make the trip safe. We had a beautiful wether, so the water had amazing colors. We also saw stringrays.

unforturnately we did not get to go on this totally fun boat ride. The weather was about as bad as it could be with high winds and rain. They said they would refund our money no problem. I am still waiting for the email saying they did do the refund. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Indeed due to the bad weather, we couldn't allow our small boat to go out. As you can understand, your security is our priority.
As you haven't been able to postpone your activity because of your schedule, we cancelled your activity and of course, we agreed with the full reimbursement.
As alread said, the cancellation has been done on the sunday 7th of september and the refund always take some days. We sent you the confirmation of the cancellation (with all the details written on it) through our conversation on Viator and we confirmed with them that the refund had been made, (because we do not manage the payment, Viator is taking care of it)

The instructions on operating the boat were very good. Unfortunately, the ladder on boat 6, is a very short ladder: Shorter than all of the other ladders and it would bend under the boat when trying to get in and out of the water. As a result, it was impossible to get back in the boat after snorkeling.
All of the ladders had an extra step and telescoped straight up and down.

After a group snorkeling tour our first day in Bora Bora, we wanted more time to go back and snorkel at the coral garden. This was a fun and inexpensive way to do so at our own pace. We stayed at the Westin and took the hotel shuttle to the main land in the morning and were picked up on time and taken to the rental location. The ladies there were very friendly and after some paperwork and short explanation, we were on our way and had a great time.

This is a great way to get on the water, travel to snorkel spots and pristine beach, and "sea" the landscape. This is a rigorous activity and you need to be able to clamber back in the boat from the water. Give yourself a good 30 minute to get familiar with the boat operation and anchoring/un-anchoring.

Awesome experience!!! They give you good training. I had never navigated a boat before, but after the training an a little bit of navigating, I felt pretty confident. They lend you a phone and a tracking device, in case you get into a bit of trouble, which helps you feel safer. One couple that had just finished the activity, told us to be careful while snorkeling… because the currents can be strong. Your arm gets a little tired if you travel far and the motor is a bit noisy. I switched from my right arm to my left arm several times to avoid tiredness on just one arm. 😅

Very responsive and reliable company when it comes to communication. Stephanie was great. We were picked up on time and driven to the office across from the boat launch. Filled out the paperwork, they give you a tracker and a cellphone in case you have trouble. Henry showed us everything we needed to know about the boat, and we were on our way.
We got caught in a squall, got soaking wet but we were going snorkeling so it didn’t matter. It’s right across from one of the islands most famous snorkeling spots “The Aquarium” where there are tons of fish, a moray eel and “I ❤️ Bora Bora” written in rocks on the sea floor. It was a very memorable experience, just the two of us!

This was a good experience. Administrative staff was great. Explained map and boat guidelines in detail. We took the 3 hour tour. It was enough for us. Got our good tan and beaches all to ourselves. It was good to try some new.

Such fun! A great way to see a lot of the island. Very clear directions in how to run the boat and navigate around. Good cover to shade from the sun. We had 2 boats for 4 people. We stopped in 2 places to snorkel - rays, sharks, & great fish among the coral. Perfect way to spend a few hours. Highly recommend.

Very fun! Quality boats with great engines, many safety features (GPS, waterproof cellphone,detailed map, ice chest) we had an excellent afternoon, going to more secluded sites for great snorkeling.

The tour operator was punctual and professional, checking us in efficiently and providing comprehensive briefing on the island area for the four-hour tour. We spent the afternoon cruising around and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Our only disappoint was that we didn't book for the full day, so worth it.

It was a wonderful day. We enjoyed it very much. My only complaint was we found the map hard to follow. It could just be us, but I would suggest a better explanation on the map and where to find certain sites. The boat worked perfectly and we enjoyed the day.

Good services for picking up/driving back from/to our hotel! We booked 8 hours for whole day so had enough time to around the main island while watching many beautiful resorts on the Motu. You really need to be careful to avoid reefs under shallow water in some areas to not damage propeller, although they provide a map with marked course to follow. This is self-paced boating so you can stop anywhere you want.

Din’t get me wrong, if your plan is to just chill in a sunny day, go for it. If you find a sunny super chill day, probably the experience wouldn’t be too bad; but if the day is windy, you will suffer.
6 horse power for the boat is not enough (I imagine that this is what they can rent to people without licence, in other places way more than 6hp). You spend almost all the time you have driving, as it is so slow that you don’t have time enough to enjoy and stop in places. If it is a bit wavy, you won’t feel very safe…
For us, in a windy day, it was not enjoyable at all.

Indeed it was a windy day that is why, during the breifing, we informed you about the conditions of navigation and we provided security rules and some advices in order for you to enjoy the activity.
You book for 4 hours through the website but as written, this is not enough time to circle the island. (you have to take 6 hours to do so and this information is on our website.). you had the possibility to extend your tour.
6Hp, is, by the French Law, the limit allowed to drive a boat without license.
Be assured that if your security were engaged, we won't have allowed to go out.
Be that as it may, we understand your point of view and our concern is that you can enjoy this activity as much as possible.
