When I got to the site to use the code they would not let me use it and I had to buy a new ticket. Interesting how buying on site was actually cheaper. I tried to contact help but didn’t get a response.

Extraordinary View

Monserate is one of the spectacular sites for anyone to experience whether you are Catholic or not. The spiritual energy is incredible, and the view show you just how lage Bogota really is. We chose to take the cable car up to the top, and the funicular train down.

Wouldn't bother

I wouldn't bother. Had to queue for 2.5 hours to get up. It was more than a 2 hr wait in the cafe. Then a 1.5hr queue to get down. If it rains you're in trouble as there's no cover.

We rode the teleferico and stayed to see the sunset. It was beautiful, we saw the church, walked through the statues and shops.

View of Bogota was incredible. Buying my ticket on line before allowed me to skip the long lines . Buy the fast pass so you avoid the long lines on the way down. I was surprised there was so much good food stalls at the top as well. Plenty of drinks non alcoholic.
