This is not a luxury spa day by any stretch of the imagination, but we all left feeling relaxed and glad we had the experience. We were picked up in an old shuttle bus with no A/C and after 30 minutes of sitting around with no communication, we nearly bailed. Once in the bath house, our apprehension started to wane and we started having a bit more fun. The “bathers” (my word not theirs) were entertaining and took good care of us during the scrub down and foam massage portion of the experience. This part felt the most authentic. Be warned, you will be in a bathing suit, but other participants will be watching everything so if you are very modest, probably not the activity for you. We all opted for a 45 minute massage which was the highlight. After 2 weeks of travel, it was nice to have a down day to unwind and certainly less expensive than a spa service on the ship. The facial portion was very nice and our skin felt amazing afterward. Note- massages are an additional charge so plan accordingly. This is one of those- “when it Turkey, you just have to…” experiences.

Viator can not be trusted nor should you do this excursion if your in bordrum.

Nobody showed, no communication sent them a message then never responded. Finally reached viator support they got a hold of them finally over an hour after pick up they said they called and messaged me however never received a missed call or message so they lied. Asked for a refund and viator denied request for refund. So I am currently doing a charge back on my credit card. This is the 2nd of 3 times this has happened to me using viator. I always trusted them but not anymore. Time to find a new company. Viator is taking zero responsibility for this or is the agency they hired for this excursion. Save your money don't do it!!!!

Not what we expected at all

PSA: All Females PLEASE READ! This location is co-ed and does not offer private rooms for baths. The facilitators are all men and they do not wear clothes while scrubbing you just a towel. There is no privacy or even option to request a female facilitator. High Pressure Sales: First of all, there is a reason why they offer a pick up- because if you had your own transport, it would be easy for you to walk out. As soon as you get there they do not give you the option to see the facilities. They sit you down and high pressure sell you on additional services off the bat. They don’t tell you the message room is set up like a sweat shop and you have to walk outside to get massage. They don’t tell you that that there is mold from floor to ceiling all over the hamam room. They high pressure sell you before you can even see any of this. Basically if you want to have a fast food style experience at a bath house, this is the one to go to. Otherwise, please look elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I booked this excursion while in port on Our cruise. We met a representative at the local market right by the exit area of the port. I believe they normally use a van for transport but the rep ordered a taxi for us. It was a bit anxiety provoking because we did not expect this was the transport method. The tour is advertised as “English” and the taxi driver was not English speaking. Other than this negative, everything after arrival was great. There are multiple crew members who interacted with us and they were all very nice and gave us great care. My girlfriend was super nervous doing this but she ended up loving the experience. There are many upsells here and I’d recommend splurging. We did the bronze package so the whole experience was about 155euro. Would recommend a Turkish bath experience here to anyone coming into the Bodrum port

Worst turkish bath i've ever had. when we arrived we were given a sales pitch on grossly overpriced services even for US standards, then we were sent to a sauna without any water at all and when placed in the actual turkish bath it smelled like musk and we had to wait almost a half hour to get the bath. They literally gave us a Turkish bath for 5 minutes and it was the worst i've ever experienced. Once done, we went to a rooftop like cattle and waited for 10 minutes without any explanation. I've had 3 other Turkish baths and they were nothing like this horrible experience. We decided to leave early because we were so disappointed. Save your money, for $100 for two people you can do much better. A lot better. Please take my advice seriously.

I should have read the bad reviews before booking! The facility is not clean or sanitary, the baths are not private, the toilets are dirty, the place is old and worn. They did not provide the extra massages we paid for. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Unfortunately the worst hamam experience we have had in Turkey. It was like a production line with men and women all being squashed into the bath! The average ‘wait in line’ for a scrub was at least half an hr. They didn’t provide you with underwear neither did they tell us to bring any before hand. You have men doing the bath for you and they don’t even ask if you are okay with that. The place also looked more like a nightclub than a spa. The only positive that comes to mind was that the masseuse was attentive and of good quality.

We had the most wonderful time getting the bath, and massage. I would truly recommend this Turkish bath. The staff was so very friendly, the guys thst did the bath & the salt wash, made you feel comfortable. We did the 4 hand Sultan massage, it was a little intense at times, if you are not an intense massage person you might want to ask for lighter hands. But overall, we truly enjoyed & would def. No seatbelts in the van, very unsafe. Also way over priced for what you get (which is not even what you’re told you’re paying for, it’s significantly less) and they STILL over charged no doubt hoping we wouldn’t notice. Total scam. To top it off I have literal bruises all over my body from this “spa day” I had. Do not at all recommend. I seriously regret spending my money here.

Our expectations were set pretty low on this one at the start because of the super low price and the fact that we weren’t booking directly with the cruise. The drivers meet right outside the port with your name on a sign. It’s not the nicest vehicle (ours didn’t have A/C running) but they bring you right to the Turkish Baths. What I can say is that the rooms and spaces get better as you progress through the process. I think the key is that this isn’t a spa with a fancy lobby but an experience. You start in the saunas, take a dip in the shock pool, go back to the saunas, and then you go through the process of salt, foam, and massage. Men and women are together so bring a bathing suit. If you are a germaphobe, this might not be for you. It’s not that they don’t keep it clean but you are sweating in a room with 10 other people and then jumping into a pool that 10 other people used before you. If that makes you cringe, it may not be for you. There is very little up-selling though everyone who did was happy. I was equally happy with the base 20-minute massage but it’s back of your body only.

Oil massage was not included as stated in the website. And the 3 hours expected time is more like 30 mins. Although they offered us a discounted rate for the massage and facial treatment, we were in there for 1.5 hours including the waiting time. So unless you spend 2 hours in the sauna the treatment is only 30 minutes without the massage. The cleaning and turkish bath itself was over in 5 minutes which was very dissapointing. Although they offer different variant massages, they all end up the same thing. Don't see why people would give it higher rating unless they have never been to a spa before. Overall we were very disspointed with the experience.

The worst experience I ever had

I contact the agent on the same booked day because I didn't receive any massage from them about the pick up (I choosed pick up from my hotel) the operator told me you have to come to our location between 10am to 6pm (photo attached about the conversation), when I reached their office (around 2pm) the office closed. I sent a message for them no body answer, I waited around 15 minutes and no body came. I asked for refund because they don't have credibility and respect for their customer!

The staff was amazingly kind! The bath included a massage at the end. Nice rooftop bar to have water, cocktails, and snacks while enjoying a beautiful view. I was on a 7 day cruise with VV. I booked a Turkish Bath Excursion but they cancelled it 3 days before departure. I booked this myself through the internet and was nervous. The company was easy to work with and made the experience great! Bodrum ended up being my favorite island. The island is clean. The people are kind and respectful. I highly recommend!

The Turkish bath is 5 stars. Great staff, i would definitely do it again. Was picked up from port and dropped off where requested. I was not impressed with the massage that we added on. Good price but I dont believe i got the full hour and i have had better massages at my local spot for less. Again, i do recommend but the massage I would skip

It was a good experience but will be useful to have more information on what to expect. We were not aware that we had to take our swim suits. It was also not mentioned that they only have male staff in the hamam. It was bit awkward as we were expecting some female staff too. Overall massage was good.

We loved our Turkish bath and massage. It was amazing! Lulu gives a really good massage. We did have to wait about 30 minutes in between our bath and the massage, even though we had an appointment time booked. The transportation to and from was also a wait. When I called to say we were waiting at the port for pickup, they told us to just take a cab and they would pay for it. Then, when it was time to return, we had to wait about 20 minutes for their driver to take us back. We loved the bath and massage a lot. This business needs to work out a few scheduling issues to give their customers a better experience.

This was a unique and fun experience! Had never tried a Turkish bath, so no idea what to expect. Definitely way different than any mainstream spa experience. The guys were so nice here, and what we worried could feel like a sketchy place turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The exfoliation process is “interactive” to say the least, and the massage was bar none. Wonderful, warm and friendly therapists who also make it a really fun day. Relaxing on their quirky little rooftop space after the treatment was just right to top off the day.

first of all, i already made the confirmation about the pick up time (9.30am)and my hotel location (Su Hotel) on 16 of september, 7 days before my reservation date. But one day before the day, they texted me that they cannot pick me up at that time bcs they cannot reach the driver and they take so long time to replay back (until almost 1am). They said that they will let me know in the morning but most probably they can do it. In the morning at 9am they said they can pickup at 10am, so i said its okey, but no information until 10.03am until i texted them. And they said i need to go to main road in the corner (im the tourist there that don’t know which main road that they mean and what is the meaning of “in the corner” ? I was asking them to pin it on the maps or let me know the name of the road so i can go there. but it takes long time for them to replay my messages, its really confusing. Secondly the worse one was they NOT EVEN SAID SORRY for that, they kept on saying that my hotel is in the alley (but i confirmed already my hotel since 1 week before), and the driver was not there when i arrived in the meeting point that they wanted. After that they pick up another guests and waiting outside of the hotel for that guest until almost 12pm. The driver not even check in to the hotel until im the one who asked him to check. And he was giving me attitude. It was the worse tour ever.

Hello, thank you for your review. We value and answer every review even if they don't tell the truth like yours. First of all, we kept in touch with you all the time and I simply explained that your hotel was in an alley which was so narrow that we couldn't simply come there with a big van and you needed to walk up to a main street which was the "corner" of that alley. We had conversations that are still stored on our WhatsApp accounts I can prove that. I cannot understand that you are telling us that we didn't say "sorry"?? M'am you didn't even answer our messages on your WhatsApp. Unfortunately, Bodrum has difficult, one-way only and narrow roads and we cannot physically provide pick-up from every small hostels, apartments etc. Sorry for the inconvenice again.
