Great tour of the Cotswalds. Saw many great little towns that at times seem to be in the middle of no where.Nice to get away from the busdy scenes in Bath. Definately recommend

We had a wonderful day trip out with Ralph as our guide. Ralph is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He showed us such lovely spots, and gave us lots of time to look around. We also saw an especially amazing stately home that was absolutely stunning - And the artwork was mind blowing. And he is a top-notch driver who made us feel safe and secure on our journey and some very narrow roads as we toured the gorgeous Cotswold area. This was such a perfect tour for us. My mother is 83 and I didn’t want to even attempt to drive us so I recommend this 100%!!

We never got picked up. No show. No call. Super hard to get a hold of them. Finally did & owner called back blaming the driver. Then 8 hours later I heard from the driver who blamed the owner for not giving him our information. Never went on the trip. Expected more for a tour in excess of $700 USD. They offered a full refund. Hopefully it will reach my card in 3-5 days as stated. Ended up hiring a private taxi who took us. Less than 1/2 the cost & probably had a better time. Then a day later I get a survey asking how I liked my trip. Well this sums things up.

This is Jules Mittra here. I am so sorry for your poor experience with us - we are committed to providing the best service and experience possible and are as disappointed as you are when things like this happen. Fortunately, they are a rarity and we do our utmost to resolve these situations on the very, very rare occasion on which they occur.
In this instance, you booked only shortly before the tour, and the guide, who had been away for the weekend, and new to our new booking system, wasn't aware that you were booked in.
As the guide and I were both either touring or were in meetings that day, we couldn't pick up the phone, but I did call you back within the hour to apologise and attempt to resolve the situation. To be honest, you were very rude and aggressive, to which I could only apologise profusely, offer an alternative day, which you declined, and assure you that we would review our systems and processes in order to understand how this had happened, and what we would need to do to fix it. We have done that, and we hope that this incident will continue to be an outlier.
Sadly, the guide was too far away to return so I promised you I would offer you a full refund and then contacted you again to confirm that it had gone through. I also offered you a 50% discount on any tour in future if you came back, as a way of apology. Sadly, we cannot always prevent things going wrong from time to time, we can only learn from errors and do our best to ensure they don't happen again, take responsibility for our mistakes, offer our sincere apologies for any disappointment and inconvenience and do our best to compensate.
In terms of the review email, it's sent out exactly because we want honest and open feedback about the experience our guests have with us, and we particularly welcome hearing the things that are not so good. It's a shame that you didn't take the opportunity to engage with me, and work with me through this mechanism - I welcome hearing tough but honest messages - it's how we improve. The fact that you deigned to communicate your frustrations privately and reasonably, and instead called multiple times using threatening language suggests there was nothing we could have done to satiate your rage.
I am sorry that we failed in this instance and as a company, I am determined that we will do better in future.
I hope the rest of your visit was more enjoyable, and I sincerely hope that other service providers, such as your taxi driver, got to see a more pleasant side to you than we did.

Our guide Ralph really made the trip an interesting and fun experience. He had extensive knowledge of the Cotswolds and we were welcomed by the local shop and pub owners who knew him personally. Would highly recommend!

Wow we had a great tour of the Cotswolds with a guide who was most informative, funny, and engaging. We learned the history along with enjoying a delicious coffee and shortbread early, then lunch later on which was out of this world. We walked around , drove, talked and learned about this lovely historical area of the UK. It was an outstanding outing and I would definitely do it again and recommend it heartily.

It was great touring the villages with a guide who knew so much about the history and culture. Our group included six guests and one guide. We were picked up at hotels and delivered back at the end of the day. Loved seeing all the beauty of the area. A favorite moment was having tea and shortbread in an old inn while Jules gave an amazing presentation with visual aids about The Cotswolds. A great way to spend the day and learn more about the area. Our guide was friendly, funny and a great conversationalist. Highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyed hearing the host of the places we saw. He was very engaging and knowledgeable and entertaining as well. We also enjoyed the place he chose to take us for lunch. The tour and Max did NOT disappoint!! The Cotswolds were very beautiful!

Not just seeing the beauty of the Cotswolds but learning about the history. The whole tour was wonderful. This tour was right up my alley with learning so much history about Great Britain. Max is very knowledgeable and great company.

Roland our tour guide was very knowledgeable and planned an excellent informative tour. I learned a lot. Unfortunately the air conditioner was on the fritz and it became uncomfortable. All in all I highly recommend this tour.

Max is a very lovely, warm, knowledgeable person. He picked us up at our hotel in Bath and showed us the beautiful country side. He discussed points of interest as we went along and took us to some very beautiful spots. Thank you Max!

Our tour guide was waiting for us outside our hotel earlier than expected which was a plus. He was one of the nicest guides we’ve ever had with a wealth of information and who truly seemed to enjoy his job.
We spent just enough time at each stop so we really enjoyed our day. Highly recommend this tour.

My family had two great days with Max on two different tours. Max was knowledgeable, personable, and very considerate. Our group included ages 21 to 84 and Max made sure everyone was able to have a great time.
We also enjoyed the company's curated approach to tours. It really gave us a chance to appreciate and explore some surprising and profound things about this part of England that we would have missed otherwise.

We spent a week in the UK without renting a car and this trip was absolutely the highlight. Jules was a fabulous host and very knowledgeable about the history of the area and of the early formation of what is now the UK.
We visited several ridiculously picturesque little villages including Castle Combe and Malmesbury. The Malmesbury Abbey was especially interesting with portions of the exterior being filled with pock-marks from musket shot taken during the English civil war.
You will also be surprised by what is considered a two-way road in the Cotswolds! I was really glad Jules was driving and not me!
