Overview

From Colony Club Beach, take a kayaking tour to Folkestone Marine Park, a protected reserve. From the comfort of a clear kayak, enjoy 360-degree views both above and below the water as you look for marine life including sea anemones, parrotfish, tangs, corals, sponges, sea turtles, and more. Jet skis and motorized watercraft are not allowed in the snorkeling area, which allows for a more natural experience.

Unfortunately I have to give a poor rating as my tour didn’t go ahead. Having already been postponed once, Nikkaya did not turn up. I had already waited for almost an hour when I managed to get hold of him. He had overslept and cancelled the tour. It was very disappointing as it was my last full day on the island and I was really looking forward to the trip. From talking to some locals on the beach, It appears that he takes on too much work and this is not the first time this has happened, although he assured me it had never happened before. I did receive a prompt refund but am still very disappointed that the trip didn’t take place and my family and I wasted a considerable amount of time hanging around.

Double booked

We didn’t do the tour in the end. We had been double booked on the first date in the morning. He moved it to the afternoon which wasn’t particularly convenient but we agreed as I really wanted to do the tour. In the end it was called off due to the wind. He rebooked us the following day but then cancelled again due to the poor weather. If I was booking again with this company I would make sure the booking is confirmed. He did refund us straight away which was appreciated.
