Local Impact: How you will help the local community by joining this tour: Instead of visiting one of the many palm sugar plantations that have been set up for tourists to see and learn about the process, we visit a local family at their village plantation where they make palm sugar daily throughout the year. The family have been here for generations and bringing our small groups provides some additional income for them.

This tour with Pam and Tik Tok was the first thing my friend and I did in Thailand and it was absolutely perfect. We were only in Bangkok for 36 hours but we knew we wanted to see the famous markets in shows like Somebody Feed Phil and Parts Unknown. Pam and Tik Tok picked us up at our hotel for our private tour and we had the best 6 hours. We arrived at the railway market before the crowds so we were able to explore and shop with ease. Pam also had clearly built relationships with vendors there so we had prime viewing spots for the passing of the train. She was so nice and funny and extremely knowledgeable. Tik Tok was a great driver and the van was in great shape with crisp A/C. 10/10 recommend this incredible tour!! You won’t regret it and ask for Pam!

- marché/train: activité purement créer pour les touristes avec des touristes (dans le train) qui photographient des touristes sur le quai, marché sans intérêt par rapport à ceux de Bangkok - marché flottant: aberration environnementale avec barge propulsée au gros diesel, embouteillage sur l’eau et marché encore une fois orienté vers le tourisme de masse Seul bon point la gentillesse de notre guide et la visite du magasin de noix de coco.
