This experience requires an app. If you don’t have an international phone plan you will not be able to generate the QR code to ride the bus or boats. The workers on the bus are rude and not helpful with making sure you get on the boat when it arrives as they are many other companies on the river. 7 pm is when the boats stop running which is pretty early.

I strongly advise against this trip. Initially, the directions lead to a different place. After arriving there by taxi, a 25-minute ride to Dinso Road, it turned out that I had to return to the boat departure point very close to the hotel. This way, I spent 400 baht completely unnecessarily. Then it turned out that my pass kept disappearing from the app, and I had to reinstall the app every time I wanted to use the boat. A total nightmare. The staff does not answer questions. A waste of money.
