I was very disappointed with the tour for the following reason
1.He only took us to a Nubian house and down the street to a few of his friends shop.
Nothing else !!!! When he wasn’t talking he was on his cell phone. Everything that was described in the summary in Viator were lies. Don’t waste your time or money going with The Nubian village just go to the Nubian museum it not worth $33.00 maybe $ 15.00 I wish I could get a refund back of half the money.

We respect your opinion; however, we would like to clarify that the tour was delivered exactly as described in the program. The Nubian Village experience includes the motorboat ride, visiting a traditional Nubian house, and walking through the local market area — which reflects the authentic atmosphere many guests specifically come to enjoy.
For those interested in historical exhibits, the Nubian Museum is a separate and different experience.

A wonderful and authentic experience in Aswan. The tour was well organized, very personal, and gave us a great insight into Nubian culture. Our guide was very friendly and welcoming. The boat ride was very special and we got to see the Nile at sunset. Among other sights we visited his brother’s shop and it was a lovely surprise—they were incredibly kind and even gave us a beautiful gift. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine cultural experience.

Moataz is incredibly joyful and passionate about his nubian culture. You'll get to see incredible colours and taste organic and original food. The experience is worth the price.

This experience was great overall with a beautiful Nile cruise to the Nubian village. Would have loved to get more history/background on the village and people itself. With it being summer and the ‘off’ season for tourism, that was the primary bummer as everything was empty and we just sat through sales pitches for our stops in the village. With it being just the 2 of us we felt pressure to buy at the stops we made. We certainly were happy to support the local people and know this is their income but the simple culture of bartering and sales pitch is just not comfortable for us personally. I do feel that during busy season it is more enjoyable and lively and less intense focused pressure on selling because the attention is more spread. Our host was excellent and by no means do I feel any part of our experience was negative due to him. He did great highlight parts of the culture. We had to ask more questions about the history. Truly just the timing was the down side. Lunch was well worth it and delicious. The restaurant we went to had very kind friendly staff. The spice shop we sat and listened about the differing spices he had to offer- he was incredibly kind- but we were not aware/prepared to know we would be stopping and then expected to purchase. Again just culture of tourism.

Mooataz was our guide. He called the day before and let me know he would be there by 10. He showed up on time and was a great tour guide. The boat ride was both educational and enjoyable. The village was great. We enjoyed some local food and drinks while learning about their customs. We had the opportunity to get henna done. There was not any extra fee, but we tipped to show our appreciation. The spice market was great. If you want my trinkets you will have the opportunity to shop.
Our guide, Mooataz, was kind enough to show us a few other places on the way back to our hotel. He went above his job and helped me workout a language barrier issue I was having with the tour company. It was a fantastic day that we will remember always.

Our experience with Ahmed was absolutely wonderful. He was punctual and met us in our hotel lobby. He was very knowledgeable about Aswan, the Nile and Nubian culture. We got to see baby crocodiles and sample traditional hibiscus tea. And the food we had was literally the best food we had in Egypt. We would recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in seeing and experiencing Nubian culture.

My family and I had an amazing experience. The Nubian Village was the highlight of our Aswan stop in Egypt. Our tour guide was super nice! He took pictures, held our bags, explained to us the culture and was super accommodating. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Aswan. The island is very charming.

I did a last minute booking on the same morning. The tour agent contacted me soon after to inform the meeting point. Our tour guide Doaa was awesome! She even gave us recommendations for our dinner near our hotel after our tour ended. We wish we were given more time to do some shopping in the village. But all in all, the boat ride in the evening to the village was excellent.

Amazing experience it's been visiting the nubian village and if you are visiting Aswan is a must do activity. The nubian culture is different from the egyptian one and you can discover it at its best here in Aswan. Mido, our guide, was kind and focused on making the best experience for us. He also offered us to have a nubian dinner, as a separate package to buy separately 15USD per person. I suggest to do it, the food was very delicious, the restaurant was beautiful and with a great view on the Nile River.

This was a good tour. Inexpensive for a private tour. The boat ride on the Nile was lovely and walking around the Nubian village was a pretty and different experience than most Nile River tour packages offer. Our guide, Mido, was great. He was very knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and we felt safe with him and enjoyed his company. Definitely the best tour guide and easiest/most professional tour company we worked with on our trip, both appreciated and recommended. The only warning to others is that vendors in the shopping lane are extremely aggressive and we didn’t enjoy that, although that has nothing to do with our guide or the tour company. Just a note for travelers to the village. Everywhere else we felt welcomed and respected.

Marwa was our best guide in Aswan. Instantly felt like we were walking around with a friend. She was very kind and knowledgeable. She helped us make sure we didn't get ripped off, we wish we had her for all our tours in Aswan! We also booked the tour same day and had no issues.
