We arrived late at night and about 30-40 minutes delayed. Our driver was waiting for us outside the airport with a sign. He helped with the luggage. The car was nice and he gave us some information about key locations in Aswan in the way to the hotel at about 1am. It was nice to have someone waiting for us instead of trying the scramble to get a ride.

We arrived at Aswan international Airport around 11:40 pm. The people at the airport were super friendly and helpful. One of them told us that our driver would be waiting for us outside the airport. When we stepped outside, sure enough, he was there holding a sign with our name written on it. He was very professional and courteous. He led us to the van and helped us with our luggage. The van was well marked with the business's name and logo, which is very helpful in assuring us that we have the right company and the right driver. The van was clean and comfortable. The ride to the hotel was about 50 minutes because of queue of vehicles trying to cross the First Dam and the traffic going through the city. But through it all - late at night and traffic, the driver was driving carefully and patiently. He knew exactly how to get us to the "hotel lobby" on the city side. What I mean by that - our hotel is located at the Elephantine Island. There is no bridge to cross the island. The only way to get there is through a motorboat. This information is very helpful if you know it ahead of time. In our case, we did not. So imagine our confusion when the driver stopped at the dock on the city side. The driver explained to us that the hotel owned the dock, the people working there are hotel employees, and that they will take us across the river to the hotel. That was very nice of him to offer that explanation. We would highly recommend Deluxe Travel, and Deluxe Travel thank you for a giving us a very good driver.
