A must do trip for all Australians. Our guide Sylvester was an amazing source of information on WW1. He helped me in all areas visited with my trip focus on where my Great Grandfather had served, and he went above and beyond my expectations. I have seen and learnt so much on this trip, everything from the horrors of war, to the new beginnings of life at the school in Villers Bretonnuex.

Our battlefields tour was a fabulous experience and one that I have wanted to do for many years. It was beautiful, moving, enlightening and at times a bit overwhelming. Silvestre was an excellent guide with an extensive depth of knowledge and he ensured our day was very enjoyable. Absolute professional. All aspects of the itinerary were interesting and worthwhile, and we were given plenty of time to immerse ourselves in the whole experience. Totally worth it.

We decided during our stay in France to experience some of the WWI history up close and found this tour to do so. Our guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, not just about the places we toured, but also about the area in general. The diversity of sites we visited, from memorials to preserved battlefields, was astounding and way more than we expected. Would absolutely recommend this tour to a friend.

A fantastic tour - we had a really enjoyable and insightful day. Sylvestre was a great guide, giving us lots of history and facts on the tour, moving at the right speed and allowing us to take our time at each stop. We learnt a lot from our trip and asked lots of questions. We were not looking for a specific grave (although if you are, Sylvestre will help you to find it) - we were looking for more a general tour and history of the Somme and this tour was fantastic. We would recommend this tour - it was excellent.
