What To Expect

Meet a driver at your Dead Sea accommodations, then travel to Kan Zaman in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The restaurant is 20 minutes outside the city center of Amman, set into a replica of a historic Jordanian village.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, step into Jordan's traditional culture, with local music and an atmospheric dining room. Fill your plate from a buffet of freshly-prepared Jordanian classics: you’ll choose from many varieties of home-style entrees, along with salads, and appetizers. Some favorite dishes at the restaurant include halloumi, a distinctive cheese that’s fried crisp before serving, and kibbeh, a dish made with bulgur wheat and ground beef.

After your meal, you’ll have the option to relax with a shisha pipe of flavored tobacco before you meet back up with the driver for the return trip to the Dead Sea.
