This was easily one of the most memorable and heartfelt experiences of our trip. Federico, Salvatore, and Paulo were absolutely incredible — their passion for the land, their culture, and the lemons was evident throughout the entire tour. From the moment we began, we truly felt like part of their family. The lemon farm itself is stunning, and we learned so much about the history, cultivation, and significance of lemons in this region. Despite a sudden downpour during the walk, they kindly welcomed us into their residence at the farm to wait out the storm — a cozy and unexpected moment that made the day even more special. What really stood out was the personal touch — at the end of the tour, Paulo walked us to a local restaurant he recommended, which was incredibly thoughtful. It was gestures like this that made the entire experience feel so genuine and personal. By the end of the tour, we felt completely immersed not just in their culture, but in their love of nature, tradition, and community. It was such a beautiful, enriching experience — one I can’t recommend highly enough. Don’t miss this tour if you’re in the Amalfi Coast area!

Basically it was a walk up the hill with no major attractions other than panoramic view of the ocean. There really wasn’t any main attraction. Lemon orchard was nice but shouldn’t have too any extra for what was paid to viator. Our guide was very nice.

We get a text 35 minutes before it was supposed to start due to rain. We could have come to the earlier tour if they had told us. Of course, it did not end up raining. It was our last day in the area, so no way to rebook the tour. Very poor communication.

The tour you booked was cancelled and fully refunded just a few minutes after the cancellation, due to an official weather alert issued by the local authorities, which required the immediate suspension of all outdoor activities. This decision was made in full compliance with safety regulations and with the primary concern being the safety of all participants and the guide. We have been operating in the Amalfi Coast for many years and know the territory and its unique morphology better than anyone else: after a long period of drought, the heavy rains forecast for that specific time could have easily created hazardous conditions, turning a relaxing experience into a potentially dangerous situation. As proof of our transparency, we are sharing the link to the official weather alert issued for that date: https://bollettinimeteo.regione.campania.it/?p=30518 We would also like to highlight that the Viator booking and review system has proven to be completely inadequate, allowing users who never actually took part in the activity—because it was cancelled due to force majeure and fully refunded—to still leave public reviews that are both damaging and baseless. No serious platform would ever allow such an absurd dynamic, where a user’s personal frustration with their vacation or day can unjustly turn into reputational harm for a company that acted correctly, transparently, and responsibly in every respect. This experience was physically challenging but very rewarding. Federico was a great guide. He is from the Amalfi Coast, so was very familiar with the area and the history of the Path of Lemons. We stopped at a lemon farm and were able to taste several lemon products and tour the farm. There is an additional cost for this that we thought was worth it. We visited just before harvest season so got to see trees full of huge lemons, so definitely note the time of year if considering this experience. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing.

This was hands down one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip to the Amalfi Coast! The lemon hiking tour was a perfect combination of stunning scenery, local tradition, and warm hospitality. Walking through the terraced lemon groves with breathtaking views of the coastline was like stepping into a dream. Our guides, Salvatore and Paolo, were absolutely fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their land and its history. They are also cousins! They shared fascinating stories about the region’s lemon-growing heritage, pointed out hidden gems along the trail, made plenty of stops up the stairs, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the hike. The scent of fresh lemons surrounded us the entire way, and the refreshing lemonade and homemade limoncello tastings were such a treat! The visit to Giovanni’s local lemon farm at the end, where we sampled lemon-infused goodies and saw the lemon grafting up close, was the perfect finale. If you’re looking for something unique and authentic in Amalfi, this tour is a must but especially with these amazing tour guides. Thank you, Salvatore and Paolo, for an unforgettable experience - your warmth and expertise made this tour absolutely worth it.

The perfect tour between towns

Frederico made this tour amazing, and it was a major highlight of our honeymoon. We met him in the town with the provided instructions, very easy to follow. He then lead us up the many many stairs but along the way we learned a lot about the towns, lemons, the culture, and got to stop for some awesome look out spots. We were lucky that the rest of the booked group cancelled, so my wife and I got have a private tour. The path to Giovonni's farm is beautiful, and meeting their family was such a high. They love what they do, being 5th generation farmers, and you can really hear the tradition and family values they put into their work. The tasting was delicious, we even added a few items for a nominal fee to eat and enjoy the view with. We left with several jars of the marmalade for home and gifts for our friends and family. This was a perfect way to really end our honeymoon and Amalfi experience. Please book this tour, you don't want to miss out!

A good amount of steps . Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and definitely check the weather. We experienced this in May and I had pants on, definitely should have worn shorts or a comfortable dress. Our guides Salvatore and Francisco were wonderful!! Local guides knowledgeable about the local history and region. We loved our experience and would definitely do it again. Lemons were delish!!! Unlike any I’ve experienced. Giovani’s farm was fantastic and impressive

Really great experience! We learned so much about Maiori & Minori from Enzo. He was extremely kind & educated! I highly suggest you look up the distance between The Lemon Path & Minori, it’s basically 90% stairs. Half way up, & half way down. Harder than I expected but there were a lot of stops. Overall, we had fun! I agree with some others reviews that the additional $15 isn’t worth the little snacks at the lemon farm.

I enjoyed the experience with outstanding local guide Enzo and nice Group of fellow Americans, beautiful views of the city of Maiori and the bay. Lemon Farm people there were nice and welcoming. I take a star for not being warned that this excursion involves almost 1 hour going up the steep stairs (couple people had to turn around and go back as this stroll requires quite a good physical shape), no warnings about proper shoes (closed toes) for such activity, and also that lemon season is over and views are nowhere near like the picture. They left a few lemons for a photo op but trees are empty of lemons. I might have not gone if I knew this, but decided to go with the flow.It was OK in general. Loved Enzo!

Enzo! Our tour was amazing!!! Enzo talked and described so much to us regarding the history and current status of what everything was. Really great tour! 10/10 ! Our guide, Enzo, was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were happy to learn so much of the history of Maiori and Minori and really enjoyed the walk. The views were outstanding and the lemon treats we tried at the farm were amazing. A must if you are staying anywhere in the Amalfi coast!

This is a beautiful path to Lemon trees. The Path is strenuous. We were three grandmas in our seventies with two granddaughters and it was difficult, but it was doable and we really ultimately enjoyed it. It allows for beautiful views and when you reach the lemon tree farm it is delightful. Our guide was amazing. He was kind and patient and very informative. Our guide Enzo was delightful. He was just the best. We had a good informative tour and he made our adventure very fun. He is extremely positive and patient. Thank you, Enzo.

Hot Lemon walk

It was very interesting with beautiful views, but a bit challenging physically. Visiting the 350 year old family run lemon farm was great. We were able to taste fresh lemon juice, lemon marmalade, and a lemon salad. We did go on a very hot and humid day so plan accordingly.

Ottimo! Beautiful walk across Maiori to Minori. Wonderful lemon tree farm with excellent tastings of all things made with lemon. Wish we had a little more of the tastings because they were so good. Learned so much about lemons and how I wish everything was like this- no pesticides, individual cultivation...Our tour guide was so nice, spoke English well and was very informed!

A Beautiful, Interesting and Fun Experience

My husband and I are 70 and 71 and I won't lie it was a bit of a physical challenge to climb all the stairs, but I am so happy that we selected this experience of a lifetime. It was hot and we sweat quite a bit, but it was worth it. Since we were the only 2 on our tour, our exceptional guide Enzo went at our pace and made us feel comfortable about needing to stop and rest. Enzo is such a true gem. At his young age, he is wise beyond his years. We loved hearing about his childhood and growing up in the area and his many hours spent on this path that he truly loves. We just fell in love with him and our time together. I learned so many new things. I will always remember him and his passion about life and people. Truly a nice person. The time at the lemon farm was wonderful and so very interesting. The couple who own the farm were very warm and friendly and we loved hearing about growing the lemons and life on the farm. The treats we sampled were so, so good. The scenery was beautiful! What a gem of an excursion.

The two young men, Frederico and Salvatore, were most passionate about their heritage and enjoyed sharing their stories and knowledge with us. We had lots of laughs while trekking the path to an amazing private lemon farm where we were greeted by homemade lemonade by the owner, Nadia, who then invited us through her and her husband's beautiful grove. What lovely people and an experience.

Perfect way to start our trip in Amalfi. We got to see some lovely views and we couldn't be more positive about our brilliant tour guides. Federico and Salvatore were wonderful. My family loved the hike. I probably would not have signed up if I would have known how many steps were involved, but I did it and loved it. The farm and staff were very knowledgeable and courteous. Fun outing for my family. Only issue was there was an additional coat for the farm tour, and was never given the option to say "no" I remember reading that tour including the samples and the farm tour.

The guys were so great! Super knowledgeable about the town and loved the partnership with the farm tour. We did not anticipate hiking so much and would have loved to dress more appropriately for the steps and hike that was involved but it was a beautiful view!

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Amalfi. The tour guides were so knowledgeable about the history and points of interest along the lemon hike. The visit to the beautiful lemon farm and tasting was terrific. Highly recommend this tour for anyone that visits the Amalfi coast. The hike wasn’t bad at all as there are breaks along with way and many beautiful vista points for photos. This is a must do tour.
