Georgio was an excellent guide. He gave us great information of the history of the area. We enjoyed seeing the less traveled area of Alberobello but also experiencing the more heavily visited area. We did a late afternoon tour and would recommend that time. He shares trulli construction information and how the people have lived in this area over the centuries. He also has a vast knowledge of the entire region of Puglia so I would not hesitate to take any of his tours.
We took 1-2 tours per day on our trip through Puglia and while all of the guides were really good, this was our favorite tour. Georgio definitely had a lot of knowledge but also knew how to go with the flow and make everything effortless and authentic. His pacing was really good and you just know he could adapt to whatever group or audience he had. He called himself a local cousin and it was definitely that vibe - we felt as though we really got a taste of the culture and could trust the information shared. Just a really pleasant and tasty afternoon.
