Good Overall Experience

Pradeep is an excellent driver and the tour of Fatehpur Sikri was fascinating and very worthwhile. The guide was good and he did not push various shops on us. The Stepwell was interesting but you do not need to spend much time or hire a guide. We did not go inside the roadhouse while Pradeep ate his lunch. Everything was professional and satisfactory.

While our travel between Agra and Jaipur was generally uneventful, I have to mention that this trip is carefully planned to be upselled everywhere you go. Regardless of what area you stop by - you will be suggested a specific shop where you do your souvenir shopping. At one of the attractions on the way they even went to the length of following us and got so annoying that we simply decided not to buy anything because they were so persuasive and pushy ... So they even shouted at us. Luckily the driver was okay although probably not particularly happy as we were not interested in being upsold "a tasty lunch" at a specific spot or "this souvenir shop is best" also didn't work for us... Anyway, the trip was okay and uneventful. But considering we paid £156 for being driven a mere 250km - it's a bit of a hassle and learning how to say "NO!" in advance is a good idea!

Worth it! do not skip on Fatehpur Sikiri and the Chand Baori Step Well

We had a great experience with this tour, both the driver and the guide at Fatehpur Sikri were awesome. The driver in particular was very kind, and let us really enjoy the trip. Usually some drivers push time in some places to arrive earlier, but not this one, he was really trying ro make us feel good. The car (a new model from Kia) was also in perfect conditions, clean and comfortable. Both Fatehpur Sikiri and the Step Well are highly recommended visiting, and makes your trip from Agra to Jaipur way more entertaining. We did not regret using this method of transportation rather than train, although it is more expensive, but otherwise you would miss this two must see places. For us the Step Well in particular was surprising, since it was the first of this kind we have seen. The guide in Fatephur Sikri, was a little bit fast, but took amazing photos of us, in the perfect places, and was very knowledgable.

Comfortable journey between Agra and Jaipur

This trip was exactly what we wanted - an easy and comfortable transfer between Agra and Jaipur with a few stops along the way. We wouldn’t normally go for a guide, but I think it was very helpful at Fatehpur Sikri because the site is so huge. The guide gave us lots of interesting tidbits about the history. There is a tourist rest stop halfway where drivers tend to drop their passengers for lunch, we didn’t really want to stop for a meal so just bought a few a snacks, but noted the prices were expensive. The stepwell was also interesting for a photo stop, there are guides available too but they are not included in the price and I don’t think one is really needed anyway. I think the price overall is a bit expensive but I felt safe and comfortable the whole time so I was very happy with this tour.

Exceptional Experience

Very good itinerary. I did not expect to see these historic landmarks during my trip to India. I am glad I booked this excursion. Manvendra was my driver. He was great! Very personable and engaging. He drove very well and tried to explain a few things along the trip. We made it to Jaipur in no time, and most importantly safely. I highly recommend this itinerary and hopefully Manvendra is you driver! Great job!
