What To Expect

Make your own way to the beach in Middleton to meet your surfing instructor for your lesson, either in the morning or the afternoon. Start by learning about surf safety, along with how to identify rips, catch waves, and stand up on your surfboard. Have time to practice on the sand before attempting your new skills in the gentle waves on this section of the beach.

Whether you are a beginner looking to try the waves for the first time or you have surfed before and want to refine your skills, all levels of surfing experience are welcome. At the end of your lesson, enjoy time to work on your new surf moves or simply head back to your accommodation.

Super clear instruction to begin, then help and encouragement in the water. The beach is superb for beginners. Several of us got up on the board multiple times.
