My guide was preoccupied with himself and his business, on the phone or talking to others leaving me standing around waiting a lot. We even went to his bank, so unprofessional. Viator refuses to give a refund because we did 2/3 things, basically the guide sucked. So ask first and don’t use or refuse Simeon Tour Group, Awful.

Alex arranged a great tour. He was very responsive in all the logistics. It was really an honor to spend time and get to know some locals. We ate a lot of good food and had many informative conversations. I was a little apprehensive about security... not knowing what to expect... but I was happy to find that this was completely misplaced, Addis felt very safe for a developing nation city. I wish I had time to do more tourism in Ethiopia. But if you only have one day, make the most of it and learn a little about this unique city.
