It was sobering to hear how Africans (my ancestors) were treated during the slave trade. Those same atrocities made their way to the American shores. Understanding one’s history is crucial. It was a great learning opportunity. FRANK DOE was the perfect guide. I plan to use him in the future on a return trip. He knows the region very well. He is an excellent driver. He ensured that safety was his top priority. Highly recommend this tour with Frank.

My family and I had an amazing day with Frank. The tour was carefully and thoughtfully curated starting at Kakum and ending at Cape Coast castle. Lunch was provided and frank handled everything. Frank is patient, kind, and very helpful. My family was truly grateful to have booked with him and has booked him again for an Accra city tour. He definitely made our first adventure in Accra a great experience. The guides at each location were passionate and knowledgeable. Clean and updated 12 passenger van, he showed up on time and waited patiently (my family were a few minutes late, and he was very helpful. Thank you so much Frank for a wonderful day.

The company transpiration was poor and created a bad experience. The first vehicle broke down and we had to be picked up by someone else to go part of the distance. The third car got us into an automobile accident. Thankfully no one was injured. We then had to be taken by taxi service to our destination. Finally a 4th car picked us up to take us to the remaining parts of the tour. The company needs to improve their transportation service of cars. Other than that the actual tour guide was nice and well informed but the main parts of the tour are conducted but guides who work for the individual stops on the tour.

I would like to thank Foster for the amazing day.
It was amazing how knowledgeable he was and how well he knew everyone wherever we went.
In addition to picking me up from my apartment, they dropped me off as well.
At any of the destinations, I did not have to wait long for a tour.
All expenses were included in this tour, so I didn't have to worry about spending money.
The places in Ghana were stunning and I enjoyed learning about them so much!
There was a lot of traffic to and from Accra but that was out of their control. I had a very comfortable, air-conditioned transport and a safe driver.
Don't be afraid to go solo like I did. It would be great to go in a group but do not be hesitant to do it on your own.
There is no doubt that I would recommend others to use their services.

This was a great mix of canopy walks and an emotionally impactful and insightful visit to Elmina Castle and Slave Dungeons and Cape Coast Castle and Dungeons. My guide Jefferson was knowledgeable and paid attention to details in addition to being a very safe driver. He was flexible and customized the tour based on my interests. Highly recommend

The rainforest was amazing and adventurous. While extremely moving the castle tours were very informative and the tour guides did a great job narrating the story. The driver was nice and also accommodating.

The tour included more than I expected. We went to the Kakum National Park, Elmina Slave Castle (Dungeon) and Cape Coast Castle (Dungeon). The sights, sounds and actual tours were GREAT! I learned and experienced so much. My tour guide Makafui and her driver was amazing. I felt sick before the tour even started and she made sure I was ok by checking on me constantly and giving me tons of water and slowing the tour down when I was struggling. If it wasn’t for her, I might have ended the tour early…but she kept me going and I am forever grateful for that!

Our guide Makafui and our driver Jefferson were the best! Everything was on time from the beginning and Frank was very communicative. The drive from Accra to Cape Coast was beautiful and the team answered all of our questions and we had many lively discussions about everything from pop music to colonialism, neocolonialism and football. Visiting the Castles was intense and moving and should be mandatory for everyone. I highly recommend this team.

Amazing cultural and natural history! This experience is a must for anyone remotely interested in the transatlantic slave trade. Frank was great! He got us to all the stops safely and was very respectful. I was also able to arrange airport transfer with Frank, and he was on time and very patient when we arrived. Highly recommend Frank. For the tour, the drive from Accra is roughly 3 hours one way and there are 3 stops included on the tour and lunch. Worth the money!!

Our Driver Frank was on time to pick us up and got us to every location on time. He was very courteous and very knowledgeable. The national park was amazing and Elimina Castle was definitely life-changing and they were able to capture moments and carry our cell phones at times when we want it to be present to listen to the history!

The drive from Accra to Cape Coast was absolutely awesome because of the knowledge of Frank Doe. He shared information about the scenic drive and landmarks on the route.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted. The tour was educational and moving. The guide made the experience “real.”
