Lovely tour!

The day was long but soooo worth it! The day started with a timely pick up from our tour guide, Olman. He was kind, had a fun personality, communicated very well in English, and he was also very patient with me as I practiced my Spanish! The tour van was very clean, the A/C was in perfect order, and lovely jazz music was played on the ride home. The tour was great. We enjoyed our first stop at the coffee plantation. Olman was very knowledgeable about all things coffee! After visiting the grounds, we enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee. This was a very relaxing experience. We also made an impromptu stop to taste locally grown strawberries. What I appreciated is that each stop left enough time for us to chill out--we never felt rushed. The volcano and lagoon tour was slightly less eventful due to the weather. It was a very cloudy and foggy day. At some point, the clouds shifted for a couple of minutes and allowed for a blurry glimpse of the volcano and lagoon. Unfortunately,Mother Nature wasn't very friendly! Finally, the visit to La Paz was beautiful. The animals and waterfalls were spectacular. We took some really nice photos. Be prepared for lots of steps! The lunch buffet was plentiful and tasty. I'd recommend this tour with Olman and wish you a sunny day to see the Poás Volcano and blue lagoon! Enjoy!

What an experience! Juan Manuel was an AWESOME tour guide! He was thorough and so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all things Costa Rica! He took his time walking us around San Jose and highlighting lots of information about past leaders, politics, architecture, food, birds, and even the Detroit Pistons! Juan Manuel was truly a joy to be around, and by the end of our tour, we felt like family! We had quick stops for ice cream, coffee, and souvenirs as well. If you love history, culture, and want to feel the hustle and bustle of downtown San Jose, this tour is a must do! What a fantastic night!! Angel was friendly, warm, and so knowledgeable, he answered every question confidently and made the whole evening exciting and memorable. The food was delicious, the cocktails were absolutely divine, and the cocktail class was such a fun hands-on touch. The location itself was cozy and spotlessly clean, with gorgeous tropical decor that made it feel special from the moment we walked in. I loved every minute of this experience and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting San José. Such a lovely way to spend an evening!

Such a fun thing to do in San Jose!

We had such a lovely time learning all about the harvesting of cacao and the production of chocolate! It was very cool to be able to taste the products at each stage of the harvesting, roasting, and producing process! Making our own chocolate bars was definitely the highlight and the instructions were clear and easy to follow! We loved all the variety in the toppings and fillings you could use and getting to make our own boxes for our bars was a bonus. The location, right in San Jose, made this an excellent option for us to do with only half a day to spend in the city.

Jorge and Ronald were...

Jorge and Ronald were great! There was only two of us and they were still enthusiastic about giving us the tour and full experience. We saw lots of wildlife (sloths, toucan, monkeys, etc) and learned a lot about Costa Rica’s agriculture and history. There were lots of cool stops along the way that made the drive feel shorter too. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. Overall, a wonderful day and excellent experience!

The experience was amazing! Ricardo was very attentive with our group and very informative about every activity we were doing. The coffee tour was amazing. We even got to pick our own coffee bean. The Poás Volcano was breathtaking as well as the lake! The restaurant we stopped at had amazing food. Get the Chi-frio!!!! The La Paz waterfall was breathtaking. I would highly recommend Ricardo to anyone interested in visiting Costa Rica, PURA VIDA!

Viktor was a super nice...

Viktor was a super nice guide and very happy to answer questions. He even took us to an extra stop (strawberry - cheese - wine - shop and tasting) after the 3 stops. I didn't understand why we first went to the coffee farm and then to the volcano because it's better to visit the volcano early so you can actually see something. We were lucky, but 10-15min after we arrived everything was cloudy and you couldn't see anything anymore. I hope they'll change it for future tours, so people can actually enjoy a good view.

Amazing tour!

What an amazing day! Our tour guide Steven was simply the best. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was a full day, about 15 hours, but it was 100 worth it. We learned about one of the coffee plantations, enjoyed so Costa Rican coffee, saw the waterfall, zip lined and spent some time at the hot spring. It was the best tour we could have started our vacation doing.

This trip was terrific. Our tour guide Marco went out of his way to ensure everyone had an informative and entertaining time. Even though we had lots of rain, we were able to enjoy all aspects of our trip. The accommodation and meals were good and the transportation by bus and boat was interesting.
