This was such a fun experience! Our head chef, Teresa, immediately set the tone for a class field with cooking tips and lots of laughs. She was an absolute joy and helped us through what was one of my favorite things to do in Porto.
The class allows time for both cooking as well as socializing. The drinks were delicious as well. This is a fun diversion when you are tired of walking the hills! The shop is located on an adorable street with lots of fun things to buy. I can't wait to attempt my own pastel de natas!

We absolutely loved this class! Rui was the best teacher ever!! Our pasties taste amazing and we feel like we will be able to do this at home because of the wonderful instruction. Don’t miss out on this class!!

This class was awesome!! We wanted an experience to take back home to the US and this hit every mark. Michael and Rui were so informative on the history of pastel de nata and helpful when baking the pastries. The concept store is very cool too and they sell some different things made by the artist. I would do this again and again, plus the pastel de nata was delicious.

This course was just right. Enough hands on experience to give us confidence to go home and make pastel da nata. Mike and Ruise were excellent teachers! Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic workshop teaching us how to make Pastel de Nata and also some interesting Portuguese history thrown in! The two teachers were good fun and kept things interesting for everyone. And the free port and soft drinks included made the afternoon fly by!

I enjoyed the cooking class very much. The class only ended up being four of us which was nice because we were able to take turns cooking the different components of the egg tarts. I feel that this class is a great activity since it’s only an hour and a half long which makes the class a good amount of time to learn something new but won’t take too much time out of your vacation. The staff was very instructive and gave a bit of history of the egg tarts. Very friendly too. Would recommend this class to others.

My family and I really enjoyed this class with Rui. The experience was fun and engaging especially for my 6 and 9 year old . We would recommend this class to anyone looking for a true cultural experience. The pastel de natas were delicious. I would take this class again the next time I’m in Porto!!

Ana and Balbina were great. They encouraged comradship and teamwork, and explained each step clearly. SO pleased with the result! Can't wait to try and duplicate the recipe.

I did the cooking class with my 3 kids (9, 6 and 4). The lady was really helpful. Although they are used to cooking with me, everything with kids goes a little slower and needs a little bit more supervising, but they were really kind and helpful. The kids and i loved it. Everything was well organized and they give a lot of information which was nice! We had a great experience, Thank u very much!

The experience was great, very informative and fun. Terry was amazing. We made our own batch as a family of four which was nice.

Great experience! I had some time to spare in the afternoon and wanted to try a cooking class that wouldn't take hours. The location is a bit confusing to reach, so give yourself some time to find the place. Directions for the class were easy to follow, and the instructors were fun and inclusive, involving everyone in the cooking process. I wouldn't do it again, but I'm definitely glad I did it! Dessert came out delicious.

This was hands down the most fun we had in Porto! 🇵🇹
We went as a group of girls, but there were also two couples and a family in the workshop, which made it such a lovely atmosphere.
Everyone got involved, taking turns with different parts of the recipe, and we each made three pastel de nata to take home in a box. We were flying home the next day, so we kept them in the hotel fridge overnight and took them back for our families to try. They all said they were the best pastel de nata they’d ever tasted!
You also get to take home a copy of the recipe, so you can recreate them yourself.
As if that wasn’t enough, there was plenty of red or white port and tonic throughout the class, and our teacher was absolutely lovely. He made the whole experience so much fun.
I couldn’t recommend this workshop more if you’re visiting Porto

What a great time!!! Mike and Rachel kept us hopping with great info., jokes, background and helpful tips. My adult son and myself did this and enjoyed eating and reminiscing as much after the class. Thank you for being a highlight of my 1st European adventure!

This is a top experience.
One of the highlights of our holiday.
Rachel and Theresa were very special and positive with all of us.
So good that the kitchen could accommodate me with my gluten free allergy - this was amazing.
So much fun.

The pastel de nata was very tasty! The teachers were able to accommodate every different dietary need.
Vandana_S, Jul 2026
Our family never did a baking/cooking class in another country and it might be our new thing! First Pastel de Nata are delicious and learning to bake them was a wonderful hands on activity for our trip! Teresa and Mike were fabulous and their studio is so chic and spacious. Mike was a wonderful teacher and would make jokes, include everyone all the while giving us the history of this wonderful pastry and of course teaching us how to prepare it! I would highly recommend this place!
Jessica_R, Jul 2026
