What are people saying about Costa Rica

Best bday ever
We had such an amazing excursion day with Carlos! I was expecting a bus, but it ended up being a private experience with just me and my three friends, which made it even better. Carlos was extremely accommodating and even stopped for breakfast to make sure we ate before all of the activities. Some of us were nervous, but he made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. He was also very knowledgeable and shared stories about Costa Rican culture along the way. We got to experience so many activities in one day, and Carlos made the whole experience fun and memorable. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Yiny, was...
Our guide, Yiny, was wonderful. She is quirky and funny, and our whole group really enjoyed spending time with her. She always looked out for us and truly had our best interests in mind. We felt safe and had a fantastic time at the beach. We would recommend this experience to others.

PURA VIDA ! Zip and smile !
Amazing experience : start to the final good bye. I came to the meeting point myself , but they do have a bus to get you from each hotel around here . Young crew : professional, knowledgeable, funny made this experience unforgettable. From training “Plato” to the end of the line they were patient , accommodating, respectful, at the same time talked about their culture and surrounding rainforest. They made it so easy and fun ! My trip was on Sep 6 at 10:30 and I am sorry that I do not remember each of their names except Alberto , and I should have , because they were the bomb !!! Ziplined from one post to another through gorgeous rainforest full of life , captivating and beautiful… alongside wild life and farm life , with the view of Arenal volcano becoming through the wall of trees .. recommend to everyone. And you can have professional photographer making this experience really unforgettable. PURA VIDA !

Incredible views, super fun, very safe, highly recommend
This was super fun! I'm very afraid of heights but I felt super safe and not at all scared the entire time I was on the tour (except for stepping up to the platform on the very first zipline -- after that it was smooth sailing), since you're clipped in to a safety line even when you're on the platform. The activity itself is incredibly fun! Some of the cables are very long (over a kilometer) and you can get up to over 40 mph on the fastest ones. You get great views of the forest and some truly unique vantage points of La Fortuna waterfall as you go zipping by. I do recommend asking the tour operators for the upper body harness (they give it to some people but not others), since without it, you have to maintain your upper body position on your own, which can be tiring. I had the upper body harness and had a great time; my wife didn't get one, and she felt like she wanted to be done after the 8th or 9th cable. Two things to know about photos: you need both your hands while you're on the zipline (one to keep you steady and one to brake), so you really can't take photos unless you have an action camera or something else mounted to your helmet or chest. They do take photos for you, and the pricing is a bit surprising: $20 for one photo (overpriced, but what I expected) or $40 for full access to all the digital originals including videos (shockingly reasonable) -- and that's for your entire family!

With its soaring volcanos, tropical rainforests, and white-sand beaches, Costa Rica is a veritable paradise for outdoor adventure. And with the right guide, nothing is too extreme. Although many Costa Rica tours will give you an adrenaline rush, like ziplining or whitewater rafting, there’s also no better place to take a rest day. Set sail from the Caribbean or Pacific coast, sample farm-fresh cacao and coffee, or explore the museums and markets of San Jose.
