Itinerary

After pickup from your Buenos Aires hotel in the morning, board your vehicle for the 35-mile (55-km) drive to the Temaiken Zoo. Stroll through this family-friendly oasis of tree-shaded, meandering paths as you make your way from Asia to Africa to South America.

Your guide will lead you through this large property while you learn about the animals, their histories, habitats and characteristics. Wander among the animals in the farm section of the zoo, including gregarious goats, curious sheep and gentle cows. Get a chance to feed some of the animals that move freely around the farm area.

See penguins, hippos, sharks, alligators and rays in the aquatic areas of the park. Perhaps bring or purchase a picnic lunch to enjoy under one of the many shady trees in this verdant park. Your zoological adventure ends with the short ride back to Buenos Aires and drop-off at your hotel.

Biopark is great. Viator’s charge is terrible

John_O, Feb 2023
First off, the biopark is beautiful and worth visiting especially if you have kids. The tour guide was excellent and had a lot of information to share. I was the only one in the group going to the biopark (the others were on a different excursion). He escorted me to the gate to ensure my entrance was problem-free. The reason for the low rating is twofold. Firstly, the day is much too long. Even with/for kids, while there are different experiences for them, families were leaving after 3-4 hours. I was ready after 2 hours. Secondly, and primary reason for the low rating is, Viator charges nearly 6 times the amount of the entrance fee! The entry fee was about $15, and the amount charged by Viator for the excursion. It is very difficult to imagine nearly all of that amount going to the travel company. If that is the case, Viator really needs to rethink who they do business with. Temaiken Biopark is a worthwhile visit. Check on their website for the entry fee compared to the ridiculous amount charged by Viator. If it is anything more than 2 times the amount, find another way to get.

Cool zoo. Lots of funny animals and a great variety. Great day out, especially for kids and families!

Horrible.

I had to get back from Uber because the driver didn't pick us up when we asked, and the car was extremely dirty
