Victoria is an excellent tour guide! Friends of ours went to La Boca and walked around on their own. That is the way to ensure you understand nothing about the place. A tour with Victoria was clear, organized, interesting, and gave us a clear understanding of the history of the place through time. She managed our large group like a pro and we really loved the amplifying headset she used to ensure that everyone could hear what she was saying. I would love to go on another tour - any tour - with Victoria. This was totally worth the time and the price.

The guide was very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and spoke very quickly. However there were far too many people on the tour, between 35 - 40 so it made the tour guide and the tour very impersonal. The tour guide could have spoken more slowly to make it more personal however difficult with so many people.

Fantastic overview of the community origins, residents, enterprises, and history through different time periods. We learned so much and our guide (a man whose name I don’t remember) was enthusiastic and excellent in all respects.

Informative, fun, relaxing tour. Learned about the history of La Boca, enjoyed the strolls in the neighborhood. Also a good way to hangout.

Must do tour of La Boca. The guide Mariana was amazing - her father grew up in the area so it felt very authentic. Great information about the history of the area and why the buildings are so colourful. Big group but she made sure to check that everyone could hear. Would highly recommend this tour.

The guide was knowledgable and professional and the tour was of very good quality. However I experienced very bad coordination related to the meetup location. It started a block away from the coordinates I got on the Viator app, and it took me 30 minutes of contact with both Viator and the company to locate the tour. But again, the quality of the tour itself was superb.

Hi! We’re so glad you found the tour excellent!
We’ll review the geolocation of the meeting point to make sure there aren’t any issues, as we haven’t received any reports about problems so far. Sometimes devices can show slight differences compared to the actual location, since the map is ultimately a digital approximation of reality.
That’s also why we always have two guides dressed in orange at the meeting point, clearly visible, and we stay in constant contact with everyone who reaches out to us. We haven’t experienced any major issues, but we’ll definitely look into it anyway.
We’re very happy that you found the tour to be of outstanding quality.
Best Regards,

The tour was busy (40 people or so) but there was room for everyone to hear. Fascinating historical view of this part of Argentina- not shying away at all from its difficult past. Great insight into the murals too. A highly enjoyable 2 hours- even in the 30C heat.

Really great experience. Boca such a wonderful place to visit. Visually stunning and do much history. Our guide did a brilliant job. A MUST for visitors to Buenos Aires.

We did this last minute as an add on. For $10 it's very cheap and the guide was very good. On the downside massive group so hard to hear sometimes and coverd a pretty small area of local. Fortunately we were able to go back and spend more time. But for cost and a quick two hours we'll worth going.

Only a short distance covered but great to understand more about the murals and colours of everything from the houses to the football clubs! Marianna was great, and it's nice to have a tour guide who is from Buenos Aires.

The guide himself was excellent like very knowledgeable, friendly and full of energy. You can tell he cares about what he does and he did his best throughout the tour. This review is not a reflection of him at all.
The problem is with how the tour is organized by the company. The group was far too large(at least 45 people) following a single guide on a walking tour in La Boca on a very warm day. That group size makes it difficult to hear, difficult to stay close enough to follow the explanations, and generally uncomfortable.
When I managed to get close to him, the information and stories were genuinely interesting. But most of the time you either have to rush forward to hear properly or end up too far back and miss key parts. Even when the guide tried to stop in shaded areas, the group was so large that many people were still left standing in the sun. After a while, you stop being able to focus and the experience drops significantly.
A walking tour should not be run with groups this big. It impacts quality, comfort, and learning. The guide deserves smaller groups and guests deserve a better experience structure.
I would recommend the guide but not this company’s group size policy.

Hello!
We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy the tour. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t specify which day or which guide you joined, as your description does not match our reports.
We usually bring additional guides during peak moments of the season, since there are only a few times throughout the year when we receive large numbers of tourists.
Our guides use very powerful microphones and always stay in the shade, so visitors receive a high-quality experience at a very affordable price — something that is reflected in the huge number of 5-star reviews on our profile.
I understand that you completed the entire tour until the end, and that no complaint was made directly to the guide, since we always offer a full refund in case of any dissatisfaction.
We’re glad that you found our guide to be excellent, they are very glad to work with us and to keep providing great tours.
Best regards,

Considering going? Just go!! It is the most well spent 2hrs in BA!
Just an amazing tour by Mr Pellegrini who even grew up in the neighborhood. What a great story teller, knowledgable, and fun experience he gave us. We will remember it forever. Thank you!

Great walking tour really informative to find out all about La Boca and Victoria really had some interesting stories to tell
PATRICIA_D, Dec 2025
Excellent insight into historical significance of the area and its inhabitants!. Despite having turned into a tourist attraction our guide (Victoria? ) reimagined through her words a real community that struggled through its existence but in their art they were able to escape above the soul dragging misery of impoverished peoples.

The tour was enlightening and the guide Victoria exemplified in her explanations just the right balance of historical facts and fun

We enjoyed the tour and found it extremely interesting. Santiago is a really friendly and knowledgeable guide and we thought he was excellent. We learned about the history of La Boca from its founding to its renewal and also about the history of the tango, what the many murals represent and naturally about Maradona and Boca Juniors plus many other interesting facts. The walking is done at a leisurely pace and is flat (many streets have cobblestones) and all up covers about 2kms, finishing at Boca Juniors stadium.

Excellent tour with Victoria.
Well worth it would recommend it highly .
Very knowledgeable on area with excellent English.
A lot better than just turning up yourself with no real knowledge or the history of La Boca
Jay_Y, Nov 2025
Had a great time today in the English speaking walking tour with our guide Vito who was so knowledgeable. We learnt all about the history of the area, the Caminito and La Boca all the while taking in the art and culture of the area.
Andja_N, Nov 2025
A nice tour to visit La Boca and understand its history. Our guide Santiago was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of recommendations on museums, bars and restaurants as well as how to safely get back to the city center.
Susan_L, Oct 2025
It is straightforward to book, reasonable price and makes no difference if you are solo or with others

This was a great way to see La Boca solo and understand the history!
The guide was amazing, so much info but also allowing time for questions, walking and exploring.
Suzannah_G, Oct 2025
Knowledgeable guide, lots to see, beautiful neighbourhood.
Could have done with brushing up on her Boca juniors knowledge.
Gen_B, Sep 2025
Great tour, Santiago was super knowledgable and helpful, with lots of recs for food and also the safest way to walk back into town. Would recommend!
Natalia_P, Sep 2025
This was an extremely interesting walking tour and I highly recommend it to everyone. Santiago is a very engaging guide; he is able - in just 2 hours - to convey lots of important and interesting information about La Boca, Buenos Aires and Argentina. He also offers more practical advice about BA and La Boca, v useful.

Sophia_R, Feb 2025
It's a long tour but very well worth it - fascinating information, lovely, knowledgeable guide (Maria) with a fun sense of humour. She also had great tips e g. for an amazing restaurant and the art gallery above the elementary school.
Boca is delightful!
