We had such a wonderful two-day tour with Erica and our driver in Beijing! Erica was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. She did a great job personalizing the tour for our group so that both the older and younger members of our family could enjoy it. Erica and our driver were also really thoughtful and came prepared with lots of water, umbrellas, and fans. She shared lots of interesting stories without making the tour feel too structured. Best Tour Guide Ever!

Had a great experience with our group today. Our tour guide Maggie was the best!! She was full of energy and cheerful and you couldn't help but enjoy being around her. Murphy is great tour guide and this is an awesome tour!

We really enjoyed our tour with Murphy (except for the heat, lol.) Murphy was a really great tour guide. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and informative and easy to understand. He was also very patient with our two girls. It was quite hot out but typical for that time of year. Be sure to bring umbrellas for shade, cooling neck wraps and small portable fan/mister. Murphy and his driver where well prepared though and had plenty of water and the van cooled down. I would highly recommend this tour and guide to any of my friends.

Great Tour of Great Wall

Our trip to the Mutianyu Great Wall with MuBus was outstanding. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and our guide, Shannon, did a fantastic job. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept everyone informed throughout the day while making the experience enjoyable. I chose to hike the west entrance, and it was definitely the right decision. It’s the more challenging route with steep climbs and lots of stairs, but the reward is incredible. The views from the upper watchtowers are breathtaking, and there were far fewer people, making it easy to enjoy the Great Wall and take great photos. If you’re visiting Beijing, I highly recommend MuBus, and if you get Shannon as your guide, you’re in excellent hands!

Our trip was really...

Our trip was really amazing not because of the great views we’ve seen along the journey. We know that the tourist spots would already be great but our amazing tour guide Bobo was truly the best part of our trip she was full of energy and informative. Not only she did made us laugh but she went above and beyond with all her amazing recommendations and photography skills. Also one more thing we did like about her she was thinking two steps ahead making the trip more fun and at exciting. Tour worth taking to save time

We took the tour to save ourselves time and worry and it worked - our guide spoke good English and he helped us go through all necessary procedures - we spent 2 hours waiting in line for security check - it is easy to spend even 4 - take it into account visiting Beijing

Great tour. Our guide, Bruce, was informative and had great sense of humor. If you plan to go during the summer month, eat breakfast and hydrate before the tour because there will be long lines to get into The Palace because children are on summer vacation. Make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes for the Great Wall.

TONY was a fantastic...

TONY was a fantastic guide!!! Our initial guide wasn’t able to make our scheduled morning tour (not their fault, weather/city flooding limited their commute) and I was impressed with the prompt communication / how the company handled the issue. They offered a morning group tour instead or an afternoon private tour with another group that had the same issue (we chose this option). My elderly mother loved his stories and he was good about finding spots for her to sit and rest. Tony was so efficient at navigating buying tickets and all the security checkpoints so it wasn’t stressful for us at all. Forbidden city is so huge that we were happy to have a guide to lead us around. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable forbidden city family trip

Memorable Experience

The tour was interesting and the guide, Linda was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She told us the story about the dragon lady and her contributions to the historical sites. The Summer Palace and lake were tranquil and Linda explained the areas surrounding the lake and the other historical places. We enjoyed a delicious lunch near the Great Wall and then climbed from station 5 to station 1. Then we took the slide down. Linda helped us with souvenirs, showed us to the tea house, and took many family pictures for us. The drive home was pleasant and conversational. The driver was safe and careful and loaned us his umbrella when the weather looked rainy. We highly recommend Linda and this tour. Thank you for a memorable experience.

True Wonders of the World

‘Rocky’ was our guide and we could not have had a more knowledgeable, polite, and supportive person. This was the best excursion of our entire China experience that we had several in different cities. The Forbidden City and Great Wall are true Wonders of the World and all the history and info he provided made them even more ‘true to life’ and amazing as we actually viewed and experienced them. We could only see Tiananmen Square and not enter it because it was closed for dignitaries that were visiting. This was Ok as we could better see the buildings and immense ground area it covered. As far as the Forbidden City and Great Wall goes, Rocky was very well organized, kept the participants in the group, and was very patient while answering questions and waiting on some of the slower ones. The Great Wall is simply almost indescribable. One must actually see its immense size and the type terrain it is built on to begin to appreciate it and the effort it took to build. Nothing else on earth comes close to its immense size and length. The tour itself was great in all aspects. The lunch provided a good variety of tasty food. I should note that my husband experienced a pinched nerve in his back while in the Forbidden City and he could not have made it through without Rocky and others physically helping at times. He was so kind and understanding and I can not express how much we appreciated his effort and concern.
