Seeing this most famous opera house was definitely an amazing experience. Our tour guide was easy to understand, very knowledgeable with many interesting facts about the life behind the scenes. Definitely a must see and do when in Milan.

We were hoping to see La Scala front and backstage, similar to the wonderful tour at New York’s Metropolitan Opera. This was nothing like it, and provided only a short glimpse of the theater. The guide was knowledgeable, but mostly showed us photos of the theater using a large TV screen, basically navigating a website. If you have modest goals for seeing La Scala, this will be fine, otherwise spend the money for a performance, where you’ll get better access, or buy a book about the theater, where you’ll get more info for less money.

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide was wonderful. She enthusiastically shared her knowledge and insight about the history of the theater. We were also able to see a rehearsal taking place on stage while there. One of our favorite tours.

Not a very interesting tour. Had expected a back stage tour. Instead we only had a visit to the upper boxes and the museum. We could have done both on our own.

Tour operator is the worst! Changed booking that was made months before. The voucher in app for Sunday was fir non existent tour.

The guide was very sweet and knowledgeable; however, we spent the majority of the tour looking at the Scala on a TV screen as the guide showed us images of the Scala. We would have loved to actually see these parts of the opera house. We were able to see a box- but were not able to go to any rehearsal spaces, or “behind the scenes” space. It felt like a lot of talking but not a lot of seeing the space.

The tour would have been okay if we had a different tour guide. First she was late. Then the hearing pieces were extremely scratchy. See LaScala but not with Elena.
