Jessica is the best, a true asset to Viator indeed . She was most patient and personable, one of the best customer support I had the fortune to be connected with

A little English history background helps you get a little more out of this tour. But it’s worth the walk.

When we booked the tour we thought it was a bus and walking tour, not a 5 hour totally walking. It showed a bus and indicated some would be on the bus. We only did 1/2 the tour because we didn't plan for totally walking 5 hours.

Very fun and honest look at London. Ben was an extremely well-informed guide who was accommodating in all facets.

Some people could not find where the group was meeting at. Need to hold a sign or something to identify who the tour guide is.

The tour operator or viator should inform customers whether there is something going on in the location that is going to alter the tour. This tour was booked on July 4 which also happens to be Londons pride parade day. A majority of the city was shut down which made getting to the meeting point virtually impossible. Using Google maps our hotel was about a 5 to 15 minute cab ride away; however, there was no route or cabs available to get us there.
This brings me to the second point, if you are having a problem and you call viator, you are calling the east coast of the USA while you are in London. Not very helpful. The best they can do is give you a phone number of the local tourism company that they are subbing this activity out to. They do not pick up the phone and will only communicate via email and not quickly.
We ultimately were able to join a later tour; however, it was not 30 top sites and we never actually went into a location. We only walked by and heard a story.
Truly a waste of a day and about 25,000 steps.

It was a tremendous over view of London with a knowledgeable guide. Benedict made the history and English euphemisms cone alive!

Such a good experience. Owen was the guide and he was fun, informative, and accommodating! He was full of information and was always engaging with the whole group. It was a full day of sights and information I wouldn’t have gotten on my own.

exploring London with Jason was significantly better then just doing the hip on/hop off bus. Jason was an excellent guide!! He was super knowledgeable and funny. We appreciated his entertaining facts as well as his excellent recommendations.

This was a wonderful walking tour. Our guide, Ariane, was so knowledgeable and enjoyable. I would suggest buying add on tickets for the interior of Westminster Abbey. We will be sure to do that on our next visit. Highly recommended m!

Nicholas was the perfect guide - informative, funny, helpful and caring! We couldn't have seen so many places on our own.
Adriana_D, Jul 2026
We did the 5-hour walking tour and I was afraid I wouldn’t make it. But Nick was amazing! He kept us in a shade while telling us all about London. The tour flew by. Highly recommend it!
Stephen_S, Jul 2026
It’s a long tour but well worth the time. Always fun to hear some of the backstory and the little pieces that make for a great experience rather than just walking along and hoping you see something.
Linda_B, Jul 2026
Lisa was awesome.. our time was limited so we saw lots of great stops in a short amount of time. Note this is a walking tour not a bus tour.
Barry_K, Jul 2026
Lisa, the Tour guide abandoned and stranded us without making any effort to look for us. We never moved from the last spot she brought us to. We were taking pictures and when we turned around she had left. We looked for her in every direction but she was long gone. It was our first day in London so we had no idea how to get back to our hotel.
We were only about one hour into what was supposed to be a five hour tour. It ruined an entire day of our vacation. We appealed for a refund and the tour operator refused. Lisa claimed in a BOLD FACED LIE that we simply disappeared!!!!! She would have easily found us had she made the slightest effort to go back to the last spot she left us. The tour operator chose to believe Lisa instead of accepting the true account of the facts because this enabled them to refuse to issue the refund. We don’t care how many prior good reviews may or may not have been received by Lisa. On this particular day she exhibited the highest level of incompetence possible for a tour guide. She lost and abandoned her tour participants and then made no effort to look for us!!!!
We lost out on the cost of the tour, experienced tremendous stress from the entire experience, were left with a horrible memory of our first day in London and are ruminating over the injustice caused by the tour operator choosing to believe Lisa over the customer.

The tour was outstanding! We saw all the London highlights. Our guide, Lisa, was great. Great first day.
Taylor_K, Jul 2026
I came to London by myself and decided to book this tour to get all the highlights in one day. Owen was my guide and he was so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The other people in the group were awesome as well and everyone had such a great time. I highly recommend this tour AND Owen to everyone! 10/10.
James_H, Jul 2026
Ben did a great job of pacing the tour. It was a comfortable stroll rather than a rushed march. We had plenty of time for questions and pictures. I recommend this tour as a great introduction to London.
Angela_M, Jul 2026
The guide, Jason, was wonderful! He gave some great, specific details about everything! He was friendly and funny! We assumed there would be a lunch break but there was not so maybe a heads up to pack a heavy snack or eat brunch right before!
Andrew_M, Jul 2026
This tour was a great experience, taking you through many interesting sites in London. The guide Ash was very informative, and also entertaining. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting London.
Jes_V, Jul 2026
Lisa was my tour guide and she was so energetic, funny and informative. A lot was covered in the amount of time by foot in seeing major London sightseeing spots, but you get to see a lot. Thanks again!
Jeanne_K, Jul 2026
Tour guide Ari was very kind and knowledgeable. She had a great sense of humor. The 5 hour walking tour was a lot with the high temperature in London but very doable.
Shivam_C, Jul 2026
Excellent tour. Benedict was knowledgeable, fun and great company. He also paced the tour perfectly, and kept the energy going
Lisa_D, Jul 2026

Wear comfy clothes/shoes. We walked about 7 miles i think. Nicklaus was a wonderful guide. There were 2 places to buy water and use the toilet along the way.
MARK_P, Jul 2026
