We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Frank. He was delightfully informative and fun to listen to.

There are layers upon layers of elements here. My favorite of all places we visited in London. Go early if you can - it gets busy. Our guide was awesome.

We thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of Westminster Abbey. Our tour guide was absolutely excellent — she kept us captivated the entire time with her incredible knowledge, fascinating stories, and historical background details. The tour was engaging from start to finish and brought the Abbey to life in such a memorable way. Worth every penny!!!

The guide was amazing and the journey through the Abbey was fascinating. It far exceeded expectations.

We had a very knowlegdeable and personable tour guides on previous Viator tours and the one today of Westminster Abbey was also exceptionally good. This tells me thst Viator only works with qualified guides. She gave enough important info mixed with stories that we felt we were living at that time. The tour passed exceptionally quickly because she held our interest the entire time.
I would certainly recommend Viator for private tours.

I would have liked the tea and scones at the end of the tour not at the beginning of tour. ………

It was a wonderful and educational tour, definitely recommend. Will never forget and the after croissants and tea were delicious.

It’s very crowded in the church, so be prepared for bottlenecks while touring. The tour was great and full of wonderful history. Do it!

Beautiful place. Guide was outstanding but a whisperer would have helped since place was packed and easy to get behind guide.

Good paced tour with informative guide Light pastry and beverages served before starting. You don’t have to eat a breakfast before arriving.

It was easy to find the guide at the meeting place. There was a short snack before the tour and the food was delicious. The guide provided a lot of information as we toured the cathedral and it was so interesting to see the variety of eras but to see markings for people we would know. I learned a lot.

Ben was fantastic! Great stories and very informative. We definitely recommend this small group tour.

Skip the line entrance. Small group so more intimate. Started with sit down breakfast of pastries and coffee/tea in the cafe at the abbey. After 10 minutes, we headed out with Amber for the tour. She was an excellent tour guide! She presented an animated narrative of history laced with humor and amusing anecdotes. She made the tour fun and very interesting. No audios were provided, but because she had a good, clear speaking voice and the group was small, I had no difficulty hearing her. Highly recommend this tour.

We started off at the café which I didn’t know. It was a lovely way to start. This is a very informative tour of Westminster Abbey. There is so so much to know about this place. Architecturally it is a masterpiece. It is hard to describe without seeing in person.

A very interesting tour of Westminster Abbey! Our guide, Anne Marie, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. It is a recommended visit in the inner world of this very special Abbey and its history!

My family of four, with two teens, was part of this 9 person tour. Our guide was a Blue Badge guide who was very knowledgeable, giving us details I never would have noticed alone.
I enjoyed having a refreshment inside the Abbey before the 90min walk. I also appreciated that our guide established the plan and timing of the tour at the start so we know what to expect.
I’ve done the audio tour once before but appreciated having a live guide for our teens.

Frank was a great guide! Good size group - only 17. Frank explained the history & highlighted unique spots along the way.
Michael_H, Apr 2026
Frank was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and very professional. The tour began entering from the cloister - which was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Besides being one of the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever seen, it’s filled with the most amazing history and stories. I’ve taken many tours during my travels and Peter was seriously one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He was both hilarious with that great British humor, but also really knew his stuff and educated us well. Absolutely would recommend this tour if you are looking to visit Westminster Abbey. It’s a great way to visit it and get the most out of it. Plus no waiting in lines to get in!

Extremely knowledgeable guide (his name was Zozo) who shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of Westminster abbey. Walked us through the space and explained as we walked through. He explained with passion for the subject and kept all our group members riveted!

Our tour guide, whose name I did not remember, presented the tour in a comfortable and easy presentation way. She connected the tour with all of the attendees and we felt she did an amazing job. Would highly recommended.

Amber was not only informative but also entertaining. A great tour!
The Abby is breathtaking and the history is remarkable.
Linda_A, Apr 2026
The tour was good but the stop at the cafe was unnecessary and I would have preferred a longer tour, especially as it was so crowded and took time moving from point to point.
Bruce_S, Apr 2026
Get Peter James as your tour guide if your love British Humor, US and British History. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining.
Joanne_L, Apr 2026
Frank our guide was awesome! My older teenaged kids learned so much and did not get bored. 10/10 👍🏻👍🏻
