We had the best day on this tour, and our guide Guillermo was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and gave us the right amount of time in each place. The lunch spot he took us to was our best meal the whole trip and overlooked the beautiful beaches! Highly recommend this tour!

It was a great day, we beat the long lines and had an amazing lunch at a restauarant on the beach picked out by our excellent driver/tour guide named Joe (Jose) B.

We had the opportunity to our with Andy. Andy was extremely knowledgeable and a delight. He was very informative and gave us time on our own. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Our tour with Sintra Magik was exceptional. We had a lovely day with our tour guide Francisco Cana. He was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The van was comfortable and spotless. Because of the fire hazard we were not able to visit Pena Palace, but Francisco made our time in Sintra interesting with a tour of the National Palace and a stop for coffee and a tasty pastry that Sintra was know for. We had a enjoyable walk around Cascai, his home town and a fabulous lunch overlooking the marina. His expert driving then took us up the coast to Cabo da Roca for a breathtaking view of the easternmost point of continental Europe.
It was the highlight of our trip to Lisbon and would highly recommend Sintra Majik and Francisco Cana.

This Day Trip was exceptional. Diego was very informative and took time to make suggestions for our time in Lisbon. He took us to a lovely restaurant for a phenomenal traditional meal in a fishing village. He also was aware of the crowds at Pena Palace so he got us there early in order to avoid the crowds. He shared stories of growing up in this area which added colour to the experience. Terrific day.

we had a wonderful time. the guide was very accomodating and would let us spend as much time in different places as we wanted. i would highly recommend it. BTW - it can get chilly up at the Pena Palace (way up high) even when it is warm down in Lisbon. Bring a sweater

We had a senior in our family and this was really the only way for her to see Sintra - the guide was so helpful. My only complaint is the restaurant we were taken for lunch. It was one of the most expensive meals lunch or dinner of our whole trip.

Our guide and driver Roy Rui was knowledgeable, flexible, professional and a gentleman. I was rate both the tour and Rui as five star.
Wendy R, Aug 2017
This is a long overdue review, but my friend and I took this tour in 2015. Our driver was amazing and took very good care of us. We loved how private and personal the tour was. He even made a special stop several times for great picture captures.

One of the best tours we have taken through Viator. We saw a lot in one day. Andy was professional, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. One of the highlights was the restaurant we had lunch. It gave us a real flavor of the region.
I would highly ghly recommend this tour, especially with Andy
Eduardo D, Jul 2017
Andy our tour guide was exceptional. Even though the booking was made for an English speaking guide, and since we are Spanish speaking, Andy was kind enough to provide a more than competent tour in Spanish. His insights went beyond the standard story telling. The places we visited were amazing, as Palacio de Pena is a somewhat lost gem, and both Cascais and Sintra are beautiful places. Furthermore, our meal at Don Luis was absolutely amazing!!!
Barbara G, May 2017
This was a really well done tour. We were picked up right on time. We had a very nice car. Our tour guide was fantastic. He even did some extra stuff with us like Port wine tasting and took us to a wonderful local restaurant with fish that was brought in fresh in the morning. We were with our guide for 8 hours and he never stopped providing us information and answering our hundreds of questions. Hioghly recommended!

This tour was terrific! Our guide, Diogo Costa, was incredibly knowledgeable. In addition to the beautiful sites included in this tour, Diogo went above and beyond in terms of explaining the cultural significance of Fado and how cork is harvested. He provided local pastries of Sintra and took us to a fishing village were we enjoyed a delicious and traditional lunch. Diogo was very solicitous and ensured that we got plenty of pictures, and truly enjoyed our visit.

We had a wonderful time on this trip primarily due our tour guide Diogo Costa. The sites were beautiful but made more so by our guide's commentary. He was knowledgeable, helpful and a perfect compliment to our experience. The Pena Palace is a must see and the small town of Sinatra charming. The history of this area and its people was fascinating and the drive along the coast to Cabo da Roca and Cascais quite nice as well. We lunched at a typical restaurant which was delicious. All in all a great trip. We can't emphasize enough how much Diogo made all the difference in the world!

The tour was a lovely, lovely day out. Our guide, Miguel was warm, friendly and informative. He ensured that we were given priority, answered all our questions and made us feel very special. The palace at Sintra is remarkable and a must' if you are travelling to Lisbon. There was extraordinary architecture, art and furniture. The beautiful township of Cascais was very different - a modern seaside place with a beautiful beach. The view at Cabo da Roca was terrific but it was only worth a short visit. All up, we would highly recommend this tour.

This is the tour you must take!!! Great tour guide, great locations, and great food. Rarely, would I take the same tour twice but this is one that would. Wife and I had a ball on this tour!!!
Marie_W, Nov 2016

Letitia S, Jul 2016
Fantastic tour!! João was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer all the questions we had as first-time visitors to Portugal. My dad has mobility issues and found Sintra challenging but felt motivated to continue because João was so patient and engaging. Great experience, highly recommended!!!
Penny R, Jun 2016
Our guideDiogo was exceptional he was knowledgeable , friendly and attentive to the needs of all members of our group. His knowledge of the area saved us time and guided us toward the experience that was tailored to us.
The car was a recent high end model, it was roomy and comfortable.
Private tours are more expensive but we find that the flexibility and exclusive access to the guide is worth the difference.
Scott_K, May 2016
Our tour guide Maddy was terrific.
Very knowledgeable and spoke perfect english.
Gave us a great tour!

This is an amazing place and a must see if you are in the Lisbon area. I highly recommend the private tour. We were escorted by Diogo and he is so informative but also fun to be around. I had read the reviews previous to booking this trip and all I can say is they are all true. I would highly recommend this tour and this tour guide.
HENRY R B, Nov 2015
The pick up from our hotel was on time which set the tone for the rest of the tour. It was well organised, the stop off sites very interesting and were in the category of not to be missed . The route was well thought out filling eight hours of sightseeing without problem. All was made a thoroughly enjoyable experience by our tour guide Madalena from Sintra Magik Tours, whose commentary, historical knowledge, information and interesting local awareness makes it very easy for me to recommend the activity to anybody. It would have been a more simple journey if we had used a smaller vehicle for our private tour than a 9 seater mini bus but that would be the only down comment I would make about the whole tour......and the narrow roads didn't bother our guide one little bit. Excellent tour.
Elizabeth A, Sep 2015
Wonderful tour from start to finish. Loved the tour guide. She made the sights even more amazing. The whole day was fun - saw a lot but we were not rushed and enjoyed a wonderful lunch.
Nat S, Aug 2015
We took the all-day private tour with Diogo as our guide, and could not imagine a better experience. Sintra is a delightful and picturesque town, while the Pena Palace is spectacular. What made the trip truly special, though, were Diogos unflagging enthusiasm, attentiveness, and good humor. Hes extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history, and his selection of additional places to stope.g., pastry shop, restaurant for lunch, farmers marketwas impeccable. I feel deeply fortunate not to have taken this trip in any other way.

The tour was very nice and although I'm handicapped when walking long distances our guide/chauffeur Lidia helped me by waiting fo my slow speed and she explained everything fro the king and Queens in Sintra and fabulous cost of Cascais and Estoril. When we come back next year we will look for her!l
Janet N, May 2015
We had a wonderful time with Madalena. She was so knowledgable, competent and professional. Sintra and Pena Palace are amazing gems! And the views are spectacular. Madalena was accommodating and greatly contributed to our experience. We were never rushed, allowing us time on our own. We highly recommend anyone visiting Lisbon to take this tour.
