Manuel was excellent. It was nice to hear a historical narrative and get a local perspective at the same time.
Our guide Manuel lead our small group of four through the history of Florence. We learned about the street corner names and shields. There is much history behind the construction of Florence. We learned about the towers, families and balconies. I get tired easy when walking at a quick pace. Manuel helped me by slowing the pace and finding me a seat when I needed to sit. Great job Manuel. Grazie.

We absolutely loved this walking tour and our guide Manuel. The tour takes you to all the major highlights of Florence and we really left feeling like we saw the city in a new light. We learned so much about the families in Florentine history as well as the little hidden gems on buildings and corners we were already walking by (but had no idea they were pieces of history!). The storytelling was great and even though we didn’t go into these places/museums we got so much out of our tour guide. The walking was an easy pace with frequent stopping for photos and admiring buildings or monuments.
Travel guide was amazing! The group was small and intimate and Sarah not only covered interesting parts of history but also gave really fascinating little bits of trivia about the various places, artists, sculptures, etc. It was a perfect walking tour
A fascinating view of Florence. Manuel our guide was very informative showing us the history of the development of Florence. He gave us a unique experience of the city pointing out things that you would easily never see. He brought the history to life. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Our guide, while very knowledgeable, did not really engage with the group. He tended to walk too far ahead and even though we could “just” hear his commentary by headphones, the experience felt quite impersonal. A difference to other walking tours we have taken both paid and free.
We had such a great experience with our tour guide in Florence! He was very kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I are both big history buffs, so we really appreciated how much historical background he shared with us on the architecture and daily art of Florence.
We would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Florence.
Sadly we did not enjoy this tour. We always take walking tours in every city we travel to and have always found it very interesting. Florence is full of history, Medici family, Roman’s and our tour guide is talking about balconies, and parts of the buildings. If you’re into architecture then this is for you. The gentleman giving our tour was also not very friendly and when we asked questions he made us feel awkward for speaking.

Manuel was very informative and we discovered aspects of Florence we would definitely have missed had we not taken the tour. Manuel guided us with good knowledge and humour and we enjoyed the experience from start to finish.
This was a great tour and the guide was amazing. He was very informed on the history of Firenze and provided a lot of great historical context. We visited many interesting locations just off the main area that were overlooked by most tourists.

Walking for an hour and 45 minutes seems long but the guide kept us in the shade and kept things interesting. He gave us many interesting insights into the history and architecture of Florence and we are so glad we did the tour.
This walking tour was awesome! Our guide took us into hidden nooks other tours passed by (we watched them) and organized the tour as a story which hit all of the major landmarks in downtown Florence. Highly recommend this tour!
Sarah was fantastic! We were a family of five, including three teenagers, and she was engaging, informative, and fun. We love history, and she was extremely patient with all our detailed questions and side quests. We got a good sense of Florence and its history and it helped us decide how best to spend the remaining days in the city.

This was a disappointment. Sara was not super friendly, but knowledgeable. It was very slow. We did not retain a lot of the knowledge.

We had an amazing walking tour of Florence with Sarah today! At first, we thought the tour might be delayed or canceled because of the weather, but thankfully the lightning and rain moved on and we were able to continue. Sarah was even kind enough to wait for us and another family that were running a little behind, which we really appreciated.
Sarah was incredibly knowledgeable it honestly felt like we were part of a documentary. She explained everything so clearly and brought the history of Florence to life in such an engaging way. The headsets and earpieces were also a huge plus because we could hear her perfectly even when we weren’t standing right next to her.
We learned so much, saw so many beautiful and historic places, and truly enjoyed the entire experience. This was an excellent tour, and we would highly recommend it especially with Sarah as your guide!
