This was such an amazing experience!! We made three different pasta types. I was surprised how easy it was. We had step by step instructions. We made enough food for a nice dinner. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious ❤️ Our instructor was incredible. She really made the experience fun. I highly recommend for something different and not the typical tourist experience.

Great small-group cooking class. Quiet area of town, short walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Eloise and Maia were so kind and helpful! Eloise even gave us a list of her favorite places in Florence after the class was over, and we’ll definitely be following her recommendations. The pasta was top notch as well. Overall, an unforgettable experience - don’t miss out!

Unforgettable Pasta Making Experience!

Dennis_D, May 2026
We had such an amazing experience at this pasta making class, and Alessandra truly made it unforgettable! She was fun, informative, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. As complete first-timers to pasta making, she explained everything so well and made the entire process enjoyable and easy to follow. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and her energy made the class such a fun experience for our whole family. We laughed, learned so much, and created such special memories together. If you’re considering taking this class, absolutely do it — and if you get Alessandra as your instructor, you are in for the best experience!

Great Class

Nicole_B, May 2026
We had a great time. We learned a lot about the proper way to make homemade pasta, and got a small instruction sheet to take home as well. The pasta was delicious! Our instructor was really great.

Such a fun experience!

Filipa_S, May 2026
We did the workshop with Christine and it was super fun! Absolutely recommend this if you like pasta, even if you’re not such a talented cook (I’m not). It’s a great experience plus dinner in the end, having the chance to eat the pasta you made yourself is really rewarding!

A fun experience learning to make pasta. Terrific teacher, great group of people and a delicious meal!

We are now ‘official’ pasta makers!

Patricia_K, Apr 2026
A fabulous experience with Alessandra’s guidance and reaching! We love how Alesandra broke down all the steps required for our pastamania experience! Everything that we made tasted delicious! We definitely will be adding the new step of coating our pasta with butter and sage. So delicious! We bought ourselves an apron and a ravioli press so that we can continue of pasta making adventures back home with our family. We both thoroughly enjoyed this class and meeting everyone from different parts of the world. Thank you to Alesandra and everyone that we met for a wonderful dinner with some new friends.

Wonderful Experience

Anthony_Y, Apr 2026
The chef walks you through making several types of pasta via hands on experience. Then he cooks up the pasta and adds it to spaghetti and butter/sage sauces. Once done, you get to eat it with wine! Dessert and lemomcello end the meal. A short wine tasting is conducted.

Jennifer_F, Apr 2026
This course was excellent and the instruction was very informative. My son has serious food allergies and they were able to accommodate him safely. This class was also good for adults and for kids (ours are 10 & 12). As it is a lengthy class, I’d suggest having a snack beforehand. We began the class at 6:30pm, and did not eat dinner until close to 10pm so everyone was pretty hungry. If that’s too late for anyone to eat, they offer earlier classes that could be better. Looking forward to trying out what I learned at home!

While in Florence my husband and I had the most amazing time learning from Francesco! He was AMAZING! He was so informative and made the class so enjoyable with his personality and sense of humor! I highly recommend this class:)

Very enriching and entertaining

Serena_H, Apr 2026
Got a great time and learned so much in such a short time with my friends and the other guests! Everything was well organized and the host very attentive to each of us. I couldn't imagine pasta making could have been so doable for my first time. So much more valuable compared to watching a tutorial or a reel! You really get to understand textures, consistency, tools and techniques! Also the plating part was very surprisingly enriching, literally tasteful culinary results start with your eyes!

Fun experience, but some rooms are nicer. Went with my adult children and husband and we were paired with a family with very young kids. We had a good time but would’ve rather not been with children. However the pasta making was fun, the instructor was knowledgeable and nice and it tasted great!! Also the wine was delicious.

Fantastic!

An experience you won’t regret

Angela_D, Apr 2026
The atmosphere is amazing! relaxed, fun, and very authentic. It feels like cooking together in a real Italian family. The instructors make everyone feel comfortable and explain each step clearly without ever making it boring.

Do not miss!

It was so much fun, definitely worth it! The teacher was very skilled and very sweet, and taught us alot about the different pastas as well as some wonderful wine!

We love pasta even more

Celine_A, Apr 2026
We loved it! Very professional, friendly and a lot of fun. Nicola explained us everything about pasta, with patience and humor.

Highlight of our trip!

David_R, Apr 2026
One of the highlights of our trip (which says a lot bc experienced some amazing things). It ranks as a highlight bc it allowed us to create an interactive memory. It’s like the best souvenir to take home, the memory of learning something new coupled with the skill to attempt this after our vacation as well. Yes, there are a lot of pasta classes you can try. I enjoyed this one, and chose it particularly for the focus on making homemade pasta. I didn’t want to complicate the course by adding learn how to make gelato or tiramisu as well. I wanted the focus to be on hands on pasta making. We also stayed in the heart of Florence and the location of this class was just over the Arno from where we stayed (roughly a 7 minute walk). It was easy to fit this class in, while still being able to plan other activities into our day. Some other classes take you to the Tuscany hillside but I imagine that becomes more of a day long commitment. Our class size was 11 ppl, 3 families of 3 and a couple. Nicola led our experience. He spoke in English and would then translate in Spanish for an 8 year old little girl. He made all of the kids in our group feel recognized. Our daughter, 17, was the oldest…yet, he even made her feel acknowledged and important. He valued the experience of the 3 kids just as much as he valued the experience of the adults. My daughter continues to say it was one of the most fun things that we did (and she’s not at all interested in cooking in general). When we finished making the pasta (we made 3 varieties), we learned in more of a presentation about two sauces (the tomato was by far my favorite). Then we all sat down to eat a plated meal, sharing a bottle of wine as a group. Dessert was premade, salame di cioccolato and served to the group after enjoying our pastas. It wasn’t something we would have thought to order in Italy but it turned out to be my favorite. The class ended with a tour of a pasta museum and a wine tasting. It also ended with incredible memories and happy bellies. *I will end by saying, I’d give our class and 3/4th of our group a 10/10 rating. There was a family (from my own country) that was less than gracious and respectful of not only the instructor but also of other participants. It did not take away from our enjoyment of the experience at all. Nicola, regardless, handled himself like a gentleman and continued to be a gracious host and teacher to every participant (which endeared him to us even more).

Amazing

Eddy_M, Mar 2026
Just 2 simple words: fantastic & amazing! The athmosphere first, the location second, and the museum was so knowledgeble

Over the Top!

Claudette_C, Mar 2026
The pasta making class exceeded all of our expectations. We were greeted by our chef Giacomo. He was knowledgeable, patient and funny. He explained and demonstrated how to make the pasta dough, roll the dough and finally make into desired shapes. He made everyone feel comfortable, even when things were not going right. Humor was added when he showed us what a ravioli explosion was. Chef gathered us around while he cooked the pasta and explained cooking times and how to test for readiness. Now was get to enjoy the food that we made as we gather around the table and enjoy conversations with the Chef Giacomo.

A must in Florence!!

Serena_H, Mar 2026
Really good value for money, got fun, met amazing people and got full belly too! I actually didn't expect I could make such good fresh pasta at my first attempt! The host was very patient and really engaging! The location was near Ponte Vecchio so very convenient to walk from Duomo Square!

A must have amazing experience!

Jenny_T, Mar 2026
An amazing class with Nicola! My mom had such an amazing experience and we both left with more than recipes, but fun memories from our trip. Highly recommend to take this class alone or with friends / fam. A great ambiance to learn, have fun and meet kind people!

Best experience with kids!

Morgan_N, Mar 2026
We could not have had a better experience! Giacomo was simply wonderful. He thoroughly explained every detail of our pasta making and made our experience very intentional. He was GREAT with including our 5 and 8 year olds! Our only complaint is that we cannot just take him with us and have a personal guide of Italy with the master of food! 10/10 experience!

Amazing

Eddy_M, Mar 2026
Fantastic experience. We made pasta practically on the banks of the Arno River, with Ponte Vecchio just steps away. Their wine, produced on the estate, was excellent as well. Of the three pasta dishes, the truffle ravioli was my favorite. 100% recommended

Pasta, laughs, and zero regrets!

Andre_B, Mar 2026
We went to Pastamenia on Saturday at 12, and honestly, we had such a great day. We were split into two groups, and in ours we were 6 people, which felt just right — not too crowded, not too quiet, just enough people to laugh with (and slightly judge each other’s pasta skills 😄). The course itself was so much fun. We learned to make three different kinds of pasta and actually understood the difference — which felt like a small personal victory. The chef was fantastic. Easy to understand, super knowledgeable, and clearly very passionate about what he does. He was patient, helpful, and made sure no one completely destroyed their dough (which I definitely tried at one point). At the end, we got to eat the pasta we made ourselves, which was both fun and a bit nerve-wracking, but it turned out amazing! Somehow it tasted even better knowing we made it ourselves (or at least most of it…). The chef also served wine for those who wanted it. I don’t drink, so I can’t say much there, but my wife really enjoyed it, so I’ll take her word for it. We were also paired with four people from the US (we’re from Sweden), and it couldn’t have worked out better. Great conversations, lots of laughs, and it honestly felt like we could have just continued the evening together. All in all, I wouldn’t change a thing. We had fun from start to finish — and left with full stomachs, new skills, and a bit more respect for anyone who makes pasta every day. Thank you for such a lovely day — great people, great food, and a really nice atmosphere ❤️
