Top Santorini Day Trips

If you are coming to Santorini on a cruise, do not book the big boat excursions—book this tour instead! From the moment we stepped off our cruise ship to the second we were dropped back off (with plenty of time to spare!), our day was seamless, stress-free, and utterly unforgettable. Our guide, Tasos, was phenomenal. Right out of the gate, he laid out every possible site we could visit and helped us curate the perfect custom itinerary to see the entire island. Because of his expert planning, we got quick, hassle-free access to all the major spots while totally bypassing the massive lines and crowds from the cruise ship tour groups. The sites were spectacular, the food was incredible, and the entire day felt effortlessly tailored to us. As a HUGE BONUS, Tasos is also a professional photographer! He knew all the secret, postcard-worthy angles and took the most incredible photos of our group throughout the day. We walked away not just with amazing memories, but with framed-worthy pictures. MIKE WAS AMAZING!!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful he made our experience for my daughter and I. From his knowledge of Santorini, his love for his hometown, his photography skills and his interactions with the locals, we could not have imagined a better tour guide!!

This is a great tour if you prefer small, private tours over the larger group tours and want to get a really good overview of the island. We did the 5 hour tour and really enjoyed the sites we got to see. When we stopped in the local village, we ended up eating lunch there so we didn’t get to see the red beach or black beach, so timing and the amount of things to see is really up to you, which is nice. Zafiris, our tour guide, was really knowledgeable and I learned a lot about Santorini from the tour.

This is a brilliant way to see the lots of different sides to Santorini. Anna was an excellent, knowledgeable and well-organized guide. We were given plenty of time at all the stops (though the beach stop could have been longer), her recommendations for lunch were delicious (both the restaurant and the dishes). The stops for photographs were spot on, and the bus trip was scenic. Catching ferries to avoid the cable car was a different experience and did save time avoiding the queues, an overall great way to get the flavour of Santorini if you have limited time.

We had an excellent expirience on this tour. The only thing was initially when we found them with the sign there was well over 100 people waiting for the same excursion. That scared me ! BUT they divided us into groups so once the boat got us to our destination we went on large vans with about 18 others. Our guide ( I wish I could remember her name because she was amazing) was wonderful. Santorini was nothing I expected but I am glad to have expirienced it. Got a good amount of time at each stop and the best part was the tiny village at the end! Would absolutely recommend this excursion

This was an amazing 10-hour tour with our brilliant guide, Gregory. We visited different parts of Santorini and were given plenty of time at each stop to explore and take photos. Gregory has a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for this beautiful island; we learned so much interesting information from him about both local life and history. We were so pleased that we decided to pay the extra fee for the interactive and extremely fun musical show at Symposion. If you are unsure about booking it, honestly, go for it—you will not be disappointed! The included wine tasting was also a lovely part of the tour. We tried some wonderful wines and had the opportunity to purchase them at the end. The sunset in Oia was the perfect end to the day. We had plenty of time to look around Oia before finding a prime spot to view the sunset, and Gregory gave us some great tips on where to go. I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough, and having Gregory as our guide was the best decision we made! Thank you Gregory!

Our tour was an incredible experience. YiaNis and Gina were fantastic with their knowledge and pleasant personalities. We learned a lot about the island and also have many photos for our memories of being on Santorini. Book this tour for a great time.
