Be aware that there are a lot of steps up and down—that’s true for Santorini and not only this tour. Our guide, Theo, was a lovely person. Very good English, attentive to the people, and knowledgeable. Only six in our group so good opportunity to learn about each other too. Recommend doing the optional wine tasting. Very enjoyable without any pressure to purchase. Driver, Manos, was skilled and also kind.

Very good pickup at the tender port, boat to different dock where we were met by mini-buses (12 guests per) and our guide Alex who gave excellent commentary about Santorini. A little history, a little about economics, culture, science, and the magnificent views.....He made sure we had health breaks and opportunity for snacks/food and some shopping. The driver did a super job on the twisty, narrow, crowded roads and returned us to the dock where we again boarded a boat to the tender port. This was an excellent tour for an overview of Santorini and avoiding the gondolo/cable car. Alex was attentive and knowledgeable and personable.

We had an amazing time on this tour and would definitely recommend it! Our tour guide was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to have an answer for every question we asked. You could tell they really knew Santorini and its history. Our driver was also great, the bus was very clean and comfortable, and the boat ride was easy and well organized. Everything ran on time throughout the entire tour, which we really appreciated, especially since we were visiting Santorini on a cruise. All of the stops were beautiful and perfect for photos, and we felt like we got to see so much of the island without ever feeling disorganized or rushed. One thing we especially appreciated was the flexibility at the end of the tour. Our guide gave us the choice of either going back with the group or staying in town longer and making our own way back to the cruise ship. We chose to stay so we could walk around, explore, and enjoy more of Santorini. Getting back to the ship afterward was extremely easy, so we were really happy we had that option. The only thing I would suggest changing is having the guide make it clear at the beginning that guests should return to the same seats on the bus after each stop. Most of the other guests were traveling together as one large group, and some members of their group kept switching seats every time we got back on the bus. Twice, this resulted in my husband and me not being able to sit together. When you’re traveling as a couple and booked the tour together, it’s frustrating to have to sit separately simply because other guests keep changing seats. A quick announcement at the beginning asking everyone to keep their original seats throughout the tour would completely solve the issue and make things more comfortable and fair for everyone. Other than that small issue, the tour was excellent. Great guide, great driver, beautiful stops, clean transportation, amazing photo opportunities, everything running on time, and the flexibility to stay and explore longer at the end. We had a wonderful day in Santorini and would absolutely recommend this tour!

Trip seemed a little chaotic at first as meeting time changed and there was no one at the meeting point initially. Large group was put into a boat to transfer to dock avoiding the cable car but once we arrived we were all split into smaller luxury buses. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable and ensured the whole group were looked after. Great way to see Santorini in a short space of time. Would liked to have spent more time in places but the sheer numbers of people from the cruise ships made it impossible to get around quickly. Great restaurant recommendation from the guide too and we got back in perfect time for the boat to take us back to the tender.

Avoid the cable car madness and book this tour while in Santorini! During our cruise there was a 4 hour queue to ride down to get to the pier to tender to the ship at the end of the day! Booking this tour ahead of time helped us avoid that whole debacle! Our tour guide Alex was so wonderful and helped make our time in Santorini special with his commentary about the history and ways of life on the island! He took us to all the places on our itinerary and made sure we got some great photos! The lunch spot he took us to called The 41 was delish, get the Rose on your Nose cocktail! Thanks Alex for the best time in Santorini!

I cannot share enough positives about the experience we received from our tour of Santorini provided by Kallisti Private Tours. While most passengers on our cruise ship were displeased with their tour experience provided by the cruiseline, it was our favorite experience over two weeks in Greece. Theodore, our driver, was extremely informative, engaging, and knew how to navigate the city in efficient ways and avoid big crowds and long lines. We hit all of the typically crowded tourist areas before the crowds, took a fabulous winery tour and tasting, shopped where the Greek pottery is actually made, and ate at a great restaurant on the beech. Our deepest gratitude goes to Theodore and Kallisti Private Tours for a day of special memories. We give them our highest recommendation without reservation!

Arsenios our guide was great. With a family of 6, from young to middle aged he kept a good pace engaged in interesting conversations for all of us and was knowledgeable of the ins and outs of history, landscape and picture taking. Definitely recommend.
