We did the clear kayak tour and seeing straight through the water while the bioluminescence lit up around us felt like paddling through stars. Truly a bucket list experience. Our guide Ivan made it unforgettable, a 20/10 easily. He explained everything with real knowledge and passion, answered every question, and even gave us great tips for the rest of the island. He explained why they protect this bay so carefully, no swimming, no motor boats, and you can feel that this team actually cares about preserving it, not just running tours. The whole crew, including our driver Torres, made the night feel special. They even helped a couple who had booked with a dfferent company and were a no show. Book now, you won't regret it! Una experiencia que hay que vivir sí o sí. Nuestro guía Ivan hizo que fuera inolvidable, un 20 de 10. Explicó todo con conocimiento y pasión, respondió cada pregunta y hasta nos dio buenas recomendaciones para el resto de la isla. Nos explicó por qué cuidan tanto esta bahía, nada de nadar, nada de botes de motor, y se siente que a este equipo de verdad le importa preservarla, no solo hacer tours. Todo el equipo, incluyendo a nuestro conductor Torres, hizo que la noche se sintiera especial. Incluso ayudaron a una pareja que había reservado con otra agencia y no estaban ahí. Apparently someone had hit their sign. so we were all standing around not knowing if we were in the right place. After that the van was defiantly in rough shape, and so is the road to get to the site where the kayaks are. the road has more to with the protected area.. Everyone goes down this one road. get ready for the smell and the muck in the mangroves where you launch from again not the tours fault just warning to be ready for it. The tour guides were amazing very knowledgeable and funny! What a beautiful experience we should protect for everyone! It’s as if you have a magic wand when you drag your hand in the water.
