Amazing private boat trip!

Really friendly crew (the Captain and 1 other) encouraged us to link our phone to the speaker, food and drink was very enjoyable and the boat also had a toilet which was handy.

This full day tour of the Douro River Valley is superb. Very well managed and well worth the money. Visits to Armenares, beautiful city. To Croft, family port winery; lunch in Sabrosa, small city. Closing with gorgeous viewpoint of the Douro River and the valley. Excellent tour guide Cubert and driver Silvino. Cannot recommend it enough. The Douro River Valley area is spectacular!

Amazing experience to experience the Douro River at sunset! A complete tour of the six bridges, with plenty of history given and ample time to take pictures, sample four different kinds of port wines and bask in the beauty of Porto at its golden hour. The yacht was excellent and the staff Silvia and Mota were phenomenal, highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and families!

Fun trip! If you want a small group experience where you can take off your shoes and sit up on the bow of the sailboat to get full views of both shorelines, choose this tour! The crew is knowledgeable and provided interesting information as well as answered any questions you we had. My cruise was lucky enough to have enough wind to raise the Genoa sail! Fantastic trip!

Perfect Private Douro River Experience in Porto

My wife and I had an amazing experience on this private Douro boat tour in Porto! The intimacy of the tour made it feel incredibly special and relaxing. Paulo was a fantastic guide; friendly, professional, and very welcoming throughout the entire experience. We even played our own music on the boombox! The green wine served on board was absolutely delicious, and the views along the Douro River were simply breathtaking. Even though the weather was unseasonably cold, it did not take away from what was truly a wonderful tour all around. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Porto!

An entertaining and informative few hours

Manuel was a great tour guide, great sense of humour and thorough knowledge of his city and the people in it passed and present. We enjoyed the glimpses of Porto history, the heritage buildings and churches, the quick cable car ride in Gaia, and the river cruise.

Totally worth the 7:30am show time!

Truly a FABULOUS experience. I learned soooooooo much about wine making and the history of the Douro Valley. The cruise was the right amount of time. Food was good. The host, Ricardo was super fun and had a great sense of humor. Both places we did wine tasting had shipping at a reasonable price to the states. In hindsight I would order and ship the wine from the second wine tasting winery. (I did both) The bread and olive oil at the last stop was unexpectedly incredible (I know, a wine tour, but the olive oil was THAT GOOD and the olives were harvested by the Dad of the tour guide at that winery.) Originally I thought "10+ hours for a tour with a show time at 7:30am....shoot me." The time flew by. 10 STARS!!!

Amazing port tour with...

Amazing port tour with Alex! We were 7 ladies on a girls trip and we had such a good time learning all about the history of port while enjoying many a port along the way. Alex was hilarious and we all felt very relaxed in our group. At the end of the tour Alex gave us lots of recommendations for the rest of our trip which was very much appreciated. Mathilda was our host and Carlos was our captain and they were excellent! If anyone told me they were going to Porto, this tour would be one of the first things I told them to book. The crew was very knowledgeable about the city and its history, they made it super fun while being informative. Durro Tour 2026

Day started wonderfully with Afonso (our guide) picking us up at our hotel. The drive to the Durro Valley was nondescript, but Afonso was great in filling in history and background for the area. We (3 couples in total) started the day with some pastries and coffee and then enjoyed a nice relaxing boat ride on the Dorro River. Afonso was always concerned about our comfort, experience, and needs. He was actually one of the highlights of the trip. The wine tastings were awesome with a bigger producer and then a smaller one. Lunch was incredible as we were treated to a small local restaurant that didn't have a tourist clientele. Owner was engaging and spoke no English, but incredibly personable and attentive. He made the wine we had for lunch and it's something you will never find in a store. Very unique experience! I would like to thank and acknowledge Afonso. He made the difference in his knowledge of the area, communication skills, and overall concern for our experience. Nicely done!!!

Five star accommodation

We were told about interesting sites along the way. There were beautiful scenery all along the cruise. A great lunch was served, with abundant beverages. The most interesting event for me, was the experience of going through two sets of locks where the river elevation dropped about 50 feet, each time. Over all, it was a very pleasant experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this cruise over the short bridge cruises. The nicest advantage of this cruise is that, you have a choice of being outside when you choose or inside in climate controlled comfort.
