What an amazing cooking class! Carlo is not only an incredibly skilled chef, but also a fantastic host who made the entire experience fun, engaging, and full of laughter. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family into his beustiful family home.
The food we prepared was absolutely delicious, fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Carlo shared so much insight into the local cuisine and culture, which made the whole experience even richer.
Beyond just cooking, it felt like a true cultural exchange, filled with stories, passion, and joy. We left with full stomachs, new skills, and great memories. If you’re considering a cooking class, do not miss this one! Highly, highly recommended!

An amazing, intimate experience unlike any other. Carlo welcomed us into his home as if it were ours and exceeded all expectations. Beyond the food being amazing, his hospitality was very much appreciated considering the heat we were in. Would 110% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sicily!

This was a wonderfully intimate experience. Chef Carlo is not only an extremely experienced chef, he is very personable and an excellent teacher. The setting is beautiful, picking produce directly from the large garden that has been in his family for decades, with the sea and mountains as the backdrop. And the food was amazing, all prepared from scratch by you under the tutelage of a wonderful chef. Che bei momenti!

Carlo is absolutely amazing!! My wife and I had the best class with him to celebrate our honeymoon. We started by picking a bunch of fresh tomatoes, basil, and more delicious treats from his garden, where he explained his culinary and family history and detailed the process of growing and selling vegetables. He proceeded to teach us how to make a classic Sicilian pasta dish, helping us through each step, as well as the best cannolis we’ve ever eaten. His home as marvelous, he served us prosecco, wine, and his own homemade citrus drink with dessert. Carlo is a well-experienced and incredible chef who has a true passion for food and hospitality. We would recommend this class to anyone traveling to the Palermo area!!!

Carlo was incredibly attentive and kind. Everything was intentionally planned, well organized, and thoughtfully done.
Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Carlo connected with us in such a warm way while also giving us privacy to enjoy the experience.
They even helped arrange our taxi, which made everything so easy!

We had a cooking class with Carlos in April. Learned to make homemade pasta and Cannoli. Was a wonderful experience! We were the only couple at his casa so basically had a private cooking class. Would highly recommend! Jeff and Tiffanie

Carlo was so welcoming and friendly! He made us feel like family immediately upon arrival. His class was easy for beginners, and we loved the recipes! He accommodated one member in our group who was a vegetarian and ensured the recipe was ok for her to eat. His family garden is stunning and learning about his culture and food was the highlight of our trip to Palermo. He is a MUST for your vacation and we just wish we lived closer so we could come back sooner.

I would give Carlo ten stars if I could. What a wonderful experience. He is nor only a great chef but an excellent teacher and host. We enjoyed sharing the experience with a lovely couple from Melbourne, too. A must do experience if you are in Palermo.

One of the best experiences of our entire trip. We booked this as a family of four, two adults and two girls (ages 7 and 11), and it exceeded every expectation.
It was completely private, which made it feel incredibly personal and special. We started in the garden harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables with our daughters, then moved inside to make fresh pasta from scratch. Carlo was patient, engaging, and made everyone feel involved, even our youngest was completely absorbed the whole time.
The setting, the views of Palermo, the food we made together, all of it was world class.
This wasn’t just a cooking class, it was a genuine experience we’ll talk about for years.
If you’re visiting Sicily with family, do not skip this. Highest possible recommendation.

My husband & and I, along with our 2 friends were coming to an end of our 2 week vacation through Italy and Sicily, diid we really need another cooking class???? But I couldn't resist some of the other reviews written by Carlo's guests...and had to experience for myself.
Read other reviews for details about what and how we cooked, but I'd like to tell you it was more like spending time with friends sharing stories while making your own pasta, and the best Cannoli's this Italian has ever had. So to answer my own question... Yes, we did need one more cooking class - Carlo's !

Cooking with Carlo was an AWESOME experience - so warm and friendly, like being invited to a dear friend's home in Sicily. The views from the terrace are spectacular. Learning to make the dough for cannolis and learning to make the pasta was a breeze with such a devoted and engaging teacher. And dining on the end result, with fresh tomatoes from the garden and home-produced olive oil, was a delight. It's been the highlight of our vacation so far. We will have great memories of the experience for years to come!

I was traveling with my best friend, and when we were planning, she had suggested booking a cooking class. We stumbled across Cooking With Carlo and were sold on the idea of being in someone’s home who had a breathtaking view and picking fresh ingredients from their sprawling grounds. Let me just tell you, it does not disappoint.
We’ve had a lot of great adventures on this trip through Italy, but this experience will be a standout memory for years and years to come.
Carlo sends you home with the recipes and the faith that you can recreate them in your own kitchen… fingers crossed it’s a fraction as good as what we created that evening 🤞🏼
I have a million pictures of the entire experience, but truly, they do not even come close to doing it justice! The view? Absolutely stunning.
11/10 would recommend to anyone near Palermo looking for a life-changing evening that includes tasty food, good company, and flowing vino 🍷

This was such a wonderful experience, from his wife arranging our transportation, having a snack to start, picking fresh vegetables in Carlo’s garden, making the delicious food and eating it with wine to compliment the courses. Carlo is patient kind and funny. We were a terrific group and we loved every minute of it. We highly recommend this cooking class!

This was such a great experience! We loved Carlo, he was informative and very enjoyable. We loved walking through the garden, making pasta, making cannolis and enjoying it with other travelers at the end. 10/10 experience!
Also, Carlo and his family are welcoming to children! My daughter is five and he was very gentle in helping her so she could keep up with the class!

If you are travelling to Palermo, Cooking with Carlo is an ESSENTIAL experience. It was the most authentic, wholesome and beautifully executed cooking class. If felt like being invited into his home rather than his just classroom. The attention to details and the incredible location make the experience second to none!

Carlo has a wonderful property. We picked foods from the garden and cooked as the light faded over panoramic views over Palermo and the sea. It's a true family business and we enjoyed meeting them all.
