Great first day in Sicily.
Great tour - Laura gave a wonderful, charismatic, and deeply personal tour of Palermo. It's an incredible city with layers of history and it was wonderful to hear about it all from as knowledgeable and passionate a tour guide as Laura.

Excellent Way To Tour Palermo
Fabrizio, our tour guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable, very easy to understand, and did an excellent job showing us the sites and explaining the history. Just make VERY sure there are no reports of extreme hot weather/fires, etc. We were on a cruise and the fires on the roads from Palermo to Catania closed the roads, so our bus ride back to Catania took seven hours instead of two, which means we missed our ship leaving the port for two days. Other than that, the tour itself was amazing!

This tour was incredibly...
This tour was incredibly informative about how organized crime affected Sicily and especially Palermo. Our guide took us around the city and explained what life was like before the prosecution of the mafia and after. It’s an important part of Sicilian history to learn that is often glamourized, but this revealed how it affected (and still affects) average people.

A fresh and local take on Palermo. Our guide gave us unique insights into local history, stories of the city, and showed us a refreshing side of local Palermo community that might otherwise be missed on other tours.

Great food/ history tour in Palermo
Very informative tour. Host Fabrizio was very generous, patient and knowledgeable.
Our family group really enjoyed everything about this tour. Sample tastings of many street foods and opportunities (and time) to buy anything else you desire along the way.
Fabrizio offered many recommendations and was happy to be contacted for further information etc before or after the tour.
Highly recommend this tour.

When to visit

Walking tours of Palermo largely take place outdoors, so wear sunscreen and a hat in summer.
You will be doing a fair amount of walking if you’re joining a tour of the historic center, so wear comfortable footwear.
The Palermo Cathedral requires modest attire that covers the knees and shoulders.
The main part of the church is accessible to wheelchair users; however, the crypt isn’t.
