Set off on the Paiva Walkways, an wooden walkway built along the cliffs of the Paiva River. Halfway through, we will rest at Vau River Beach, on hot days, the river invites you to take a refreshing dip, so bring a swimsuit! After the walk, treat yourself with a charming stop in the town of Arouca, where you can enjoy a drink and typical meal — a traditional Arouquesa roasted veal with a drink of your choice (wine included!). Crossing the 175 metres high bridge over the Paiva River with a local Guide and discover one of Portugal’s most impressive landscapes. The tour begins in Porto, with transportation to the UNESCO Geopark in Arouca. After a brief security briefing, prepare to cross one of the world’s largest suspended pedestrian bridges. Walk through the Paiva Passages and admire the stunning views of cliffs, river and waterfalls. The tour ends at the river beach of Espiunca, ideal for relaxing. If you choose the option with lunch, a typical dish of the region will be served. Important note: Due to the recent fires, about 2 km of the passages have been destroyed and will not be passed. The remaining route retains all the safety and beauty of this unique experience.

Discover the wonderful scenery on the banks of the Paiva River! From the steep slopes to the river rapids accentuated by the granite formation, this is the ideal setting for a unique walk. On this visit you will be able to follow the valley, gorge and openings of the river, calmly on an extension of wooden walkway for approximately 2,5 miles. After, you will have the opportunity to walk on one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. Bridge 516 crosses the Paiva River at 574 feet suspension, and is implemented over a length of approximately half a mile. A must! On the next part of the day, we will visit Aveiro - The portuguese Venice! And like the italian one, the best way to visit it, is by boat - the Moliceiros. So, we provide an small boat cruise of 1h for you to discover the charms of the city and it´s channels.
