Had a wonderful tour of Mont-Saint-Michel with Rose. She adeptly and efficiently nagivated us through large crowds and provided insightful information throughout the process. She was very patient with a mixed age group and their varying needs. Would highly recommend!

Day Trip to Le Mont-Saint-Michel
It was a unique trip and a once in a lifetime experience. I’m from the US where our history begins around the 1600’s. It’s rare to visit a church that was built in the 600’s. What’s more amazing is that it is built on an island on top of stone. The guide was amazing and did a great job of keeping us on schedule and sharing interesting information on Le Mont-Saint-Michel. I would highly recommend this trip. Be careful to allow time to eat. Our restaurant service was very slow.

Recommended!
Even though this was supposed to be just a shuttle service, our guide was really great. She was very friendly, informative, and shared lots of interesting information and useful tips with us. Her advice made our visit to Mont Saint-Michel even better, and we really appreciated her help and positive attitude!

We had a wonderful day!...
We had a wonderful day! Our guide Mickey was very professional, knowledgeable and fun! It made for a great experience. We booked the trip for the Normandy tour, but the addition of the visit to Mont Saint Michel was such a pleasant surprise! It was an absolutely gorgeous place with so much history, but you should note that there is a lot of walking and stairs so wear appropriate shoes! Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Paris!

Brown concrete castle on the beach during the daytime, Mont Saint Michel
  • The parking lot is located on the mainland; a shuttle runs from the lot to a drop-off point close to the entrance.

  • The village is full of narrow walkways and steps, so wear comfortable shoes and prepare for crowds.

  • There are no stairs from the parking lot to the entrance, but 350 steps lead from the top of the main street to the abbey.

  • Wi-Fi is available at the tourist office in the village.
