Fun and Informative National Galley Tour with James
We were amazingly fortunate that we were the only two people on a tour of the National Gallery conducted by James. His approach was to use select paintings in the gallery to highlight the evolution of artwork from the Tudor Period to the development of Impressionism. He was incredibly knowledgeable and responded with clarity to our numerous questions. James was also friendly, personable and relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with him in the National Gallery.

Great experience
We throughly enjoyed our experience with James at the British Museum and then an hour later at the Portrait Gallery. James was very knowledgeable and helped us hit some high points of both museums collections without wandering around too much. We did both tours but if you are a bit older than we are and walking a lot isn’t your thing we would suggest picking one for a day and doing another one the next if you have the time.

Excellent tour of a fantastic museum.
This is an excellent tour. A great way to explore a fascinating museum. Our guide, Alan, was superb. His explanations were detailed and made us appreciate these masterpieces much better. Strongly recommended.
