Learning to surf works best with someone teaching the basics before you hit the water. From Lisbon, head over the April 25th Bridge to the coast for a small-group lesson, starting on the sand with the fundamentals before you paddle out to catch your first waves. Wetsuits and a range of boards are provided, with transport from central Lisbon included.

Catch your first wave, brush up your skills or get an insider’s guide to the best surf spots along the Lisbon coast with a local guide and small group of surfers. Find the perfect spot for swell, sea conditions and your skills, and try riding a variety of different boards. Practice paddling in, popping up and riding the wave with help from your guide. Discover hidden gems along the scenic coast, where white sand beaches and uncrowded waves are the perfect first taste of Portugal's surf culture.

"A Perfect Mix of Performance and Local Soul" Most surf schools just give you a board and a coach. We give you a guarantee and a community. We stand by our 'One Wave Guarantee' for beginners, backed by a dedicated private coach who focuses solely on your group. But the experience doesn't end in the water—you start at our private Beach House and end with a personalized 'Insider's Map' of hidden local restaurants and viewpoints that you won't find in any guidebook. We don't just teach you to surf; we welcome you into the Lisbon surf lifestyle.

This group lesson is the perfect way to expand your surfing skills while visiting Lisbon. Instead of having to organize equipment rental, this hassle-free experience includes wetsuit and surfboard rental for extra convenience. During the lesson, find out essential safety information and the fundamentals of surfing theory before heading into the water to try out practical skills.
