The path to the waterfall is fascinating, especially with Alejandro, who is a very kind, polite guy with exceptional knowledge of his work. He made sure at every moment that my partner and I were okay, he kept explaining every detail to us, showing us things along the way and taking spectacular photos. Upon arriving at the waterfall, every part of the journey is worth it, which is not heavy at all. Alejandro is the clear example of someone who LOVES HIS JOB! At the end, the lunch was delicious, order your casado with fajitas. Finally, Magda accompanied us to the starting point, always kind, smiling, and warm, thanks to both of you, Pura vida!

Manuel went above and beyond. We got to go to rainforest where we saw several sloths, snakes, frogs, and foliage with informative explanations. He took us to eat a traditional meal which was wonderful. Our coffee and chocolate tour with history of both plants and got to assist in making coffee/hot chocolate. We then made several stops along the way to see wildlife including a toucan and herons. He took us to waterfall where we ended our day. Cannot recommend Manuel and this tour enough! He was incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable.

Family adventures

We were picked up at our hotel early on time and driven about 45 minutes with no traffic to a location where we then switch cars to an off-road vehicle. We wrote about 20 minutes and then we were able to use restrooms before we started the hike into La Leona. It was gorgeous. A Very very fun family day!

Edward the amazing!

Edward was fabulous!!! He spotted all kinds of creature for us including spider, holler, and white faced monkeys!!! He was personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable!!! The waterfall was also amazing albeit the cold water but it felt refreshing!!! The hike itself is moderate and does include stairs in several places however if you’re in decent shape, it’s very doable!!! Beautiful scenery and highly recommend!!! Edward is the guide to get!!!

Great airport transfer experience

Got a transfer with Yorlin from Liberia Aiport to La Fortuna. Yorlen was there on time, was a friendly and a safe driver. He took us to a great restaurant for dinner on the way and navigated us on the dark windy and wet roads to La Fortuna with ease. Very professional and we are so glad we had his help instead of driving ourselves after a 6 hour flight!

The guide, Dairo, was very pleasant and informative. My husband and I had a private tour to Llanos de Cortez Waterfall and a coffee, cacao, and chocolate tour in Bijagua. We had the chance to see sloths, an eyelash viper snake, a red-eyed tree frog, a porcupine, and many more animals in the park. Finally, we enjoyed a very tasty lunch at a local family restaurant. This was a long but well organized tour from our all inclusive resort inland to see the rainforest near La Fortuna. It was a good way to get a taste of Costa Rica in a day; we enjoyed some good food, our guide was very helpful on our hike and pointed out lots of wildlife; make sure to bring swimsuits for the thermal pools, we totally forgot and paid a fortune for some when we got there, still worth it though

Well worth your time!

This excursion is well worth the time. We saw everything we wanted to see, sloths, frogs, snakes, bats, monkeys and more. Our tour guide and driver was over the top knowledgeable and educated us with everything there is to know about Costa Rica and the places we visited. Lake Arenal and Hot springs with hanging bridges hike.

Such a great day! While driving to Arenal Volcano, our guide Daniel, shared information about Costa Rica. We stopped for breakfast and had a wonderful traditional breakfast with an excellent view of Lake Arenal. We drove on to visit the hanging bridges. There we saw snake, bats, birds, and got to walk 3 bridges. We then went to the Hot Springs and relaxed in a beautiful setting. We then went on to have lunch right at the base of the volcano. Such a beautiful area. The tour was excellent and our guide Danial was as well!

A very good experience!!

The experience was amazing from start to finish, and much of it is due to the fantastic team that accompanied us. Miguel, our driver, did an impeccable job: always punctual, very professional and driving safely at all times, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the tour without worries. Boom, our guide, was simply spectacular. Super charismatic, close and with a great knowledge of the place. He explained everything in a clear, entertaining and very good mood, making the tour dynamic and fun. He was always attentive to the group and willing to answer any questions.
