Good day on sailing to Bahia Concha
A good, solid day on the water. We departed on a catamaran around 11:00 and motored about an hour to Bahia Concha. Normally it would have been a monohull but it was undergoing maintenance. There we anchored for 3-4 hours and had lunch. Lunch was included and consisted of one of two dishes.... grilled fish and rice or a ham/cheese wrap. We had the wrap and it was very good and easier to eat with the plate on your lap. Water and soda was provided free of charge throughout the day. Beer was extra. The day consists of time on the beach and experiencing a kayak or paddle board. At 3:00 we returned to the catamaran and sailed most of the way back. Very delightful. The crew was very nice, helpful, and committed to making your day as nice as possible. A good trip.

Great experience
It was an very informative and exciting experience. Steep hiking. Definitely recommend long pants and a long-sleeved shirt and insect repellent. The tour had some amazing views. Ronaldo the guide was very knowledgeable and fluent also in English, he explained everything very well and answered all questions. I would definitely recommend this tour. The lunch was also very yummy 😋

Relaxing day on the water
Very relaxing day on the sea visiting beaches around Santa Marta, from the popular ones to some quieter one, good mix. Snorkeling was better than expected. Manuel and his crew were relaxed, chilled and attentive. Special shout out to the cook who did a great job with lunch.

Lost city trek Indiana Jhoan group
It was very well planned from start to finish. Everything was as described in the details. The adventure was amazing. Great views, history, and making new friends. Hiking was very tough but breaks were provided as needed. The camps we stayed in were very nice. Our guide Jhoan and english translator Carlos were awesome. We were fortunate to have a group of similar aged and physically capable people which made the trek even better. The lost city trek was difficult but well worth it. It is something I will remember forever. Pack as light as possible because you will be carrying your bag for days. Just bring the necessities.

A great tour. We picked...
A great tour. We picked up (and dropped off) in Santa Marta by a friendly taxi driver to meet a bilingual guide, Mario. He was a very knowledgeable and interesting guy to spend a day. Activities were educational and a lot of fun. We had such a wonderful day in Minca. P.S. Wear good hiking boots would be easier to walk on the trail because it could be muddy and slippery.

Excellent tour!
This little tour is a great way to get a sense of the city. Lots of great history; food suggestions; and an expert and thoughtful guide. Plenty of time to ask questions. The bikes are simple and in good repair and helmets are available if you'd like one. Riding wasn't difficult and local drivers were accommodating. Highly recommend!

My experience
The experience was good but be prepared that even if you are not getting into the waterfall you will need to wear water shoes. Depending on your guide you will need to walk through water at different times in the day. People had to constantly take off their socks and shoes and put them back on. I think our guide took us a different path and we walked a lot through the jungle so be prepared for a bit of walking. Also bring snacks we did not eat lunch until 3pm and we were all starving. Also the cacao experience you don’t really make your own chocolate bar so don’t think you will be getting a full chocolate bar it is more of a small ball. Overall it was a good experience. I would recommend.

Amazing day
What an amazing hike and experience!!!! I had the most incredible time. The terrain was not too rough and each segment ended with a stunning beach. We hit up three different beaches and we had a great lunch overlooking the beach. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and made this an incredible day to remember

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply amazing!
Our boat tour at Tayrona National Park was an incredible experience. The water was pristine and clear, and the weather was absolutely perfect. We visited three beaches—Cinto, Playa Cristal, and Concha—and all of them were amazing and had their own unique charm.
Lunch was included at Playa Cristal and we ate very well; the fried fish was cooked to perfection!
A few tips for future travelers:
The Captain: Our captain, Didier, is a total gem. The ride to the beaches was a bit rocky due to huge waves, but he is very skilled and managed to minimize the impact as much as possible.
Seating Strategy: Keep in mind that if you sit at the back of the boat, you feel the waves less but you will get splashed. If you sit at the front, you feel the waves to the fullest, but we got off the ride with minimal splashes.
Sun Protection: Bring sunscreen! The sun here doesn't mess around (I ended up with a sunburn).
Would definitely recommend this tour!

Excellent introduction to Santa Marta and the food
Great walking tour of the fruit/veg stands, trying fruit along the way. Also the fish market and meat market. Ate amazing arepas, green banana cayeye, plantain crust with cheese and shrimp. Add lemonade and wonderful coffee to make a wonderful time. Only 4 of us with Al and Hugo - their knowledge was shared freely and made me appreciate so much about Colombia. My only warning is that we walked at a good pace which might make this not a great fit if mobility is an issue.

A great day of sun and sailing
This was a wonderful day trip to enjoy an outstanding beach surrounded by majestic mountain scenery. The crew were super friendly and supported us really well, though it was an all Spanish-speaking crew on our sailing, so it helped a lot that my wife and I speak Spanish and could also help make sure that the other passengers fully understood. The trip to and from the bay was stunningly beautiful and we were very comfortable on the catamaran even though it was quite windy in the morning.
The fresh fish for lunch was fantastic, and it was very neat to see the crew catching the fish for us as we cruised along. We ate on the beach rather than on the boat, so don't forget to bring your sunscreen to shore (or ask the crew to bring it when they go back and forth).
The beach wasn't crowded and the vendors were walking around but not pushy or any negative behavior.
We had an amazing day and this catamaran cruise was a great way to experience a little bit of Tayrona National Park from the sea.

Smooth Journey with a Great Chauffeur!
I had a great experience with the transportation service from Santa Marta to Cartagena. The chauffeur, Hader, was very knowledgeable, respectful, and professional throughout the journey. He made the trip smooth and enjoyable, and it was clear he knew the route well. Great guy—highly recommended!
