Great excursion with “Dave”, informative & extremely helpful. Ran on schedule & very professional. He handled a very difficult passenger who was demanding that we stay ashore for longer despite ignoring the stated duration in the tour description that he was informed of prior to purchase & completely ignoring the other passengers requirements or timetables. This was a great tour! We enjoyed every minute. Our guide Amato very clearly communicated important information and with humor. His commentary was detailed and very interesting. Amato offered plenty of suggestions for things to see and do in our free time as well. He is very knowledgeable. Our driver Eduardo was wonderful as well. This was a wonderful cruise around the southern area of Lake Como. Our Gaid took us along the West Coast, then crossed over to the east side of the lake, describing villas history and attractions he treated us to Prosecco as we enjoyed our cruise. Our tour with Antonella was fantastic! She is an amazing guide and took such great care of us throughout the day - making sure our group stayed together, saw all the best view points, provided great information and history throughout the tour, and got us the prime seats on the train and ferries. There’s no way we could have navigated this day without her. She is so knowledgeable, fun, friendly and engaging! The tour was very well planned and provided the right amount of time on the boat in Lake Como taking in the beautiful views, and exploring Bellagio and Varenna. Antonella suggested a fantastic restaurant for lunch on Bellagio. Even though it was a cloudy, rainy day, we could still appreciate the beauty of the area and thoroughly enjoyed our day. The meeting point changed from when I booked the excursion. We had not realized an email was sent a couple of hours before letting me know the pick up spot but that information did not change on Viators reminders or app. Luckily, we got booked for another trip a couple of hours later. The boat ride was great! Beautiful villas and only 2 other people were on our boat. It felt semi private.
