Unique Once in a Lifetime

We loved this experience!!! Being able to learn the history of the samurai in a real samurai house and then swing a samurai sword was incredible! This experience was so immersive. We got to wear traditional samurai outfits and practice the mental meditation too. The staff and samurai instructors were amazing and even took pictures for us! Highly recommend, it was a huge highlightbof our entire trip!

Kyoto Day Tour with Yoshi

Yoshi, our guide, was extremely professional, prepared, knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us navigate between the must-see Kyoto sites effortlessly using bus, train, tram, taxi, and uber. He knew just where to capture pictures away from the crowds and where to stop to take in key historical details of the sites we visited. We were able to see so many more places and learn so much more with him by our side. We even got to choose amongst three options for our final site of the day so the tour felt more customized. He also made our whole family feel very welcome and answered at least 100 questions of all sorts from our 13 year old son. Would highly recommend for any first-time visitor to Kyoto.

Fun with the Deers!

Ko was our guide for the day and we loved him. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. My kids loved this tour as they got to feed the deer as we walked along. The whole experience was easy. We met Ko at the Kyoto station and he was right where he said he would be (he sent pictures etc). He guided our group to the train and off we went to Nara which is about a 45 min train ride. The tour is all on foot for a few of hours so bring comfy shoes. It was a good pace with time to stop if needed. On the way back, Ko guided us to the train station and told us which train/platform to get on to return to Kyoto. I would highly recommend!! Thank you Ko xo

Nori communicated with us before our trip and took great care to plan our personalized itinerary. He took us to some beautiful Temples and as a retired educator, shared his great knowledge about Japan’s history and all the places we visited. He paced our tour to our comfort level. One of a kind Experience

This was such an enjoyable experience. We were welcomed to a traditional Tea House where we were dressed with beautiful kimonos (you get to choose your pattern, design) and ladies had their hair prepared with a large selection of hair ornaments to choose. Better than we could have wished for. Fun for the entire family of 8, 14-56. Food was plentiful, drinks flowed freely, just the right mix of Japanese/western. Great family entertainment. Great value for money. We arrived 30 min early which was perfect as it is first come first seated.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at the ramen making experience. Our guides were so informative and concise with their steps while also making the experience enjoyable with their energy. They were very thorough with what ingredients came next and were very helpful. They give you an adorable handwritten thank you message with a picture while making ramen. The ramen was also 10/10 as well!
