Market, temples, Nature, and a great guide

This tour is amazing and Lance was such a great guide. my mother is handicapped and Lance researched the best ways to use the train stations always found us an elevator or ramp. He knew so much about the Japanese culture and history. His English was very strong and easily understood. The temples and markets were beautiful. Two things that really made Lance stand out as a great guide was when we went to the offering area at one of the temples Lance didn't want us to miss out because we didn't have a coin so he provided on for each of us. The second thing was I asked a question that he wasn't sure the answer to, but after the tour I was surprised to see a message from Lance answering my question. He did not gain anything from this I had already paid and tipped him it really just reflected how amazing and dedicated to his job Lance was.thank you Lance for making our tour of Japan so special.

Amazing tour with a special guide!

Our half-day tour with Maya was absolutely perfect, even despite the heavy rains from a typhoon. Maya is incredibly kind, warm, knowledgeable, and we all adored her. She was just as wonderful with my 75-year old mother as she was with my 9-year old and 14-year old daughters. This is an absolute must! We were staying in Tokyo and only had a day in Kyoto and were able to make the most of it with Olive, our private guide. Eiji was waiting for us with a sign as soon as we got off our cruise ship. He was full of educational information knowledge of the city, patient with our pace & laughed with us. He made sure we had a full day of site seeing while making sure we got back to our cruise ship port on time. If you're cruising & looking for tours, go with Viator instead of booking thru cruise ship. Much more personable tour with guide & you'll see more. We rode taxis, boat, trains & walked through so many sites in Hiroshima. Long but very enjoyable day.

Incredible day exploring local gems with our fantastic guide!

Toshi is the best! So knowledgeable, friendly, and showed us things we would have never seen had we planned the day ourselves. I just put topics of interest like “culture, food, non touristy things” and he hand picked an unforgettable day. As a bonus, he stayed for extra time so that we could explore his local neighborhood which was having their annual shrine festival. He helped us with ordering food, navigating the things to do, and showed us places locals go to pray/give thanks. We will miss him as much as we will miss this beautiful country!!

Kyoto highlights

This is an excellent tour. We took a private tour of Austin. He was punctual. He took us to various sites within the city. His explanations were thorough. His Pace was very good. We covered a lot of ground with many shrines and temples. We saw sites of historical and cultural significance. We had life at a local restaurant with Japanese comfort food. All of my family interacted well with him and he provided much information which is beneficial for the rest of the trip. I highly recommend this tour.
