What are people saying about Hokkaido

Great tour to must-see locations in Hokkaido
Fabulous tour to amazing locations. Wouldn't have been able to do all locations in one day by ourselves and considering our limited stay in Hokkaido, this really came in handy and the price was very reasonable as well.
Sophie/Sakura-san was very helpful, giving detailed instruction on the meeting point with pictures the day before. And throughout the day she was great as well, providing highlights of all the location and taking pictures when needed. She even gave us recommendations for dinner, which we are very thankful for since it was delicious.
The only downside was the vehicle was quite small so difficult to fit the shopping within such limited space.

Perfect Sapporo Experience
What can I say about Tiger? He is now my friend. And he is a fantastic host, crafting the stops, food, and drinks to the guests’ preferences. He went above and beyond, even staying past the generous time allotment. Way more than my money’s worth on this one. You’ll be glad you did it!

Wow!
This was a wonderful tour. Yumi was punctual, polite, knowledgeable and attentive. The hike up to Mt. Hakodate was beautiful and educational. We were able to see a lot of the flowers that were in bloom. The view from the top is breathtaking.
The cherry blossoms at the fort were beautiful. We were blessed with great weather and peak blooms. We were in awe.
Then Yumi led us to a traditional lunch at the market.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable, peaceful, easy paced tour that all four of us thoroughly enjoyed.

Convenient and highly recommended!
We really wanted to see a number of places on Hokkaido, but most of the tours were a full day. We had a half day before we caught our flight, so we were able to see what we wanted to by having a driver take us to those locations. Afterwards he dropped us off at the airport, so we didn’t have to worry about that. It was very convenient and a great experience! The car was immaculate, Yuuki made pit stops during our three hour trip to see the Blue Pond, he made some great suggestions when we had a few extra minutes time, and Yuuki also took some wonderful photos of my husband and I.

Fun for the whole family!
It’s fun, and with today's rain, it was a perfect afternoon. We learned a lot and enjoyed the whole experience. There was audience participation, but no pressure to take part in that. We didn’t order the meal and got one drink and a photo anyway, so it really isn't necessary to make it that expensive. Enjoy!

A ‘must-do’ excursion in Sapporo
I had a great evening out with delicious food and drinks and Kay was a fantastic guide! The variety of izakayas we visited made for a varied evening with lots to eat. We all had such a good time that we carried on to several other bars after the tour until well after midnight! Sapporo is a very safe city and it’s no problem walking around late at night. Thanks to Kay for making a really memorable evening.

Four tasty treats and a great time!
What a great experience! With clear communication from the very beginning and prompt support when we were standing at the wrong corner for pickup, Yuki was great to work with! After a lovely cup of tea and some friendly conversation we got started on the delicate Wagashi making. Yuki had prepared very clear instructions for us to take home with us and was an excellent teacher. Her English skills are strong and what words she didn't have she could use actions to show the next step.
I am failry clumsy and lack much artistic talent but the instructions were clear and under a masters guidance the process was easy! My wife is much more artistic than I am and also had a great time making the Wagashi.
At the end, we had four beautiful and delicious sweets to take back to the hotel. 5 stars!

A Delicious, Insightful, and Perfectly Guided Market Tour
Tom is a truly outstanding, world‑class guide. From the moment our tour began, he was warm, personable, and incredibly engaging. His deep knowledge of the area, history, and culture turned every stop into a meaningful experience, and his excellent English made everything easy to follow and enjoyable for our whole group.
What really set Tom apart was how attentive and flexible he was. He listened carefully to what our group was most interested in and adjusted the pace and focus of the tour so we could get even more out of it than we expected. I also have a food allergy, and Tom went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable, coordinating options and double‑checking details so I could relax and enjoy myself.
Because of Tom, this wasn’t just a good tour—it was an exceptional one. He is a true asset to this tour group. Five stars without hesitation.

Add this to your itinerary!
One of the best experiences on our trip to Hokkaido! The owners were extremely hospitable, friendly, and kind. The instruction to make the soba was thorough yet simple, filled with the history of soba in Japanese culture. It’s an incredible joy to eat the soba you prepared in their cozy restaurant along with some delicious tempura. Highly recommend this experience, guaranteed to be a pleasant surprise and a time to remember.

Great experience, must go on this tour to hit all the spots that are hard to get to.
The company was very helpful in answering any questions I had prior to booking; moreover, seeing that we spoke English, they paired us with an English-speaking driver.
Our driver, Andrew, was the best. He was attentive and patient; his customer service skills are A++. He was great at communicating arrival times throughout the day, being an entertaining encyclopedia of fun facts, and providing tips on both local and external destinations. When we accidentally left some stuff in the car, he was kind enough to drop it off at our hotel the next day.
The company also has taxi services if you need it! They deserve good business.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent 1-Day Furano & Biei Private Car Trip
We had a wonderful one-day trip to Furano and Biei and chose the first itinerary option, which was very well planned and comfortable.
Our driver Andrew picked us up directly from Hotel Mystays Sapporo Aspen right on time and dropped us back at the hotel at the end of the day, making the entire trip completely hassle-free, especially as we were traveling as a family.
Andrew was very patient, friendly, and professional. He waited for us at every stop without rushing and also shared helpful suggestions on nearby places to visit, along with recommendations for his favorite local restaurant, which added a nice personal touch to the trip.
The itinerary was well paced and covered all the key highlights:
Farm Tomita
Furano Marche (lunch stop)
Shikisai no Oka
Blue Pond
Shirahige Waterfall
The private car was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was smooth and well organized.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hokkaido, especially families or those looking for a relaxed and flexible sightseeing experience. 😊

Ryo (Leo) was an awesome...
Ryo (Leo) was an awesome guide and really customized the tour to what I was interested in! We saw so much of Sapporo, and it was great to get a sense of the city from his perspective, having lived here for many years. Even outside of the tour, Ryo provided some wonderful recommendations for the rest of my time in Sapporo and other cities I would be visiting in Japan. I was a solo traveler, and it felt like having one of my friends show me around his city!
