An Unforgettable Day Exploring Istanbul with Fuat

We had an absolutely fantastic private tour of Istanbul with Fuat. We visited many of the city’s iconic sites, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Fuat brought each location to life with his deep knowledge of Istanbul’s history, culture, and traditions. Some of the highlights of the day included learning about traditional pottery and trying it ourselves, as well as discovering the intricate rug-making process and seeing the beautiful handmade rugs at a local store. We also enjoyed an incredible local lunch and experienced true Turkish hospitality. What truly made the day special was Fuat himself. He was warm, friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire day, ensuring everything was tailored to our interests and pace. We highly recommend Fuat to anyone visiting Istanbul and looking for a personal, informative, and unforgettable experience!

Our guide Hope was amazing. He had a great personality and was very knowledgeable about Turkish culture and history. I almost did not make the excursion due to health issues but I’m glad we powered through. Proper dress code is required. Closed toe shoes, covered head shoulders and knees. Must remove shoes at blue mosque.

Excellent guide! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a small group of 6 which worked well. It’s important to know the dress requirements. Women need to cover their heads with a scarf or similar. No shorts or bare shoulders for men and women.. Must remove shoes in Blue Mosque. Only one restroom in entire area we walked for many tourists.. All sights within walking distance. Long stairs going down into Basilica Cistern. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Excellent historical tour of Blue Mosque, Sultan’s palace and Grand Bazaar

Turns out it was just me on the tour. It was a wonderful day. My guide tailored the tour since we had some time and I got to see a pottery demonstration and a rug knotting demonstration. I learned about the way the tiles for the Sultan’s palace were made and saw some amazing Turkish carpets. The Blue Mosque is so beautiful and the tour of the Grand Bazaar was great. I really enjoyed and highly recommend this tour.
