- This is a full-day walking tour, so comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
- Guests may choose not to enter one or more of the paid attractions. However, as this is a small-group tour, the itinerary and scheduled meeting times must be followed. Guests who skip an attraction may enjoy free time nearby and rejoin the group at the agreed meeting point.
- Selecting an earlier departure time helps reduce waiting times at the mosques and allows for a more comfortable experience.
- Please note that licensed guides do not have priority access at active mosques. All visitors must pass through the standard security lines.
- Getting to the Meeting Point from Galataport Cruise Terminal: The easiest way to reach the German Fountain is by taking the T1 tram, which takes approximately 30 minutes in total. After leaving Galataport, turn left and walk for about 10 minutes to Tophane tram stop. Take the T1 tram in the direction of Bağcılar and get off at Sultanahmet. The German Fountain is approximately a one-minute walk from the tram stop, and your guide will be waiting there. You may pay the tram fare with a contactless Visa or Mastercard. American Express is not accepted, and there is no need to purchase an Istanbulkart.
- Museum Tickets: Museum admission fees are not included in the tour price. To keep the group together and avoid ticket-counter delays, the required tickets will be arranged in advance by your licensed guide and paid for separately by the guests. Please do not purchase separate tickets online unless you plan to visit the attractions independently. Current admission fees and payment details will be provided before the tour.
- During winter, the Bosphorus cruise may be cancelled if weather or sailing conditions make the journey unsafe.
- This is a comprehensive full-day tour. To ensure that all scheduled attractions can be visited, the Topkapı Palace tour focuses on its main courtyards and most significant collections. Guests seeking a more detailed exploration of the palace may prefer to book a dedicated Topkapı Palace tour.

I attended the tour on Jul 19, Ludviq, the tour guide, who had the sense of humor and there was no down time during the tour and he was informative, he was such a helpful guy and even helped me check in the flight online, my husband and I had a great time with him.

This walking tour immerses travelers in all things Istanbul including history, religion, culture and royalty! We visited several different Istanbul landmarks and ended our tour on a beautiful cruise down the Bosphorus admonishing old and new Turkish architecture!

This is a must do activity for anyone visiting Istanbul! Ludviq was such a knowledgeable guide. We could ask anything and he would have an answer. He was funny, interactive, and kept at a good pace. We were able to see all the main highlights in just one day - it was such a comprehensive tour. We ended the day with a Bosporus cruise, which was such a relaxing trip after walking all day and being able to see the beautiful city from the water. I would highly recommend this for anyone, especially if it is your first time.

An awesome day long tour of key Istanbul sites. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable on Roman and ottoman history. He was fairly thorough in explaining each sites histories and interesting stories. The cruise was a great way to end the tour. It was relaxing to view the city European and Asian sides, along with historical stories. Well worth our time and money.

What an incredible trip!! Lutfi was amazing, he took his time, thoughtfully shared all details, and booked all our tickets for us. We simply walked up, and walked in, no waiting in ticket lines. The sites are all a must see and he allowed us to linger in spots we wanted more time in!

I was in Istanbul for a brief layover and had just one day to sightsee. This tour was amazing as I hit all the major landmarks. My guide, Lutfullah, was amazing, and I would definitely use him again. Lutfi was extremely friendly and welcoming from the introductions. He was VERY knowledgeable and could answer any question we had. He joked around with us to make us feel more like you were taking a stroll with a friend. It was A LOT of walking, but he made sure we had plenty of rest breaks and even recommended a restaurant for lunch that had the BEST lamb shish I've ever had. I'd highly recommend.
Word of caution for the entrance fee to the locations: expect to pay around €140 extra to gain entrance to all the stops. Not the company's fault, but still just wanted to give a head's up. It was worth it to gain entry and learn the BTS, however.

What and awesome day we just had with Lutfi! There were only two of us on the tour so we were able to cover A LOT of ground. I felt like we saw most of Istanbul’s major highlights in a day - with time for a leisurely lunch and a 1.5 cruise on the Bosphorus. Lutfi is incredibly knowledgeable, flexible and fun. It was worth every penny booking with him to fast track in to the venues and skip the lines. He made sure we were enjoying ourselves all day - which we were! Highly recommend!

Lutfi is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, and we appreciated the depth of information he shared. At times, though, it was difficult to hear him, as he spoke quite softly, which made parts of the tour harder to follow. Overall, if you’re someone who prefers a quieter, more low-key guide and values deep knowledge, you may enjoy this tour, but clearer projection would really improve the experience.

First, it’s a small group tour with no more than 15 guests per tour. If you’ve traveled a lot, you know that’s a big deal. Our guide Lutfullah was kind, patient and shared a wealth of knowledge with the group. We also appreciated his yellow umbrella, open when possible, or closed but raised when necessary. I find it particularly frustrating when guides don’t do this. The areas visited on this tour are very popular. It’s easy to get separated. The tour is comprehensive to say the least! If you’ve traveled have one day in Istanbul, you’ll get it all on this tour. It is demanding. A lot of walking and a fair number of stairs to climb. We’re in our late 60’s and I have some arthritis. Lutfullah is mindful of his guests and thoughtfully pauses for seated rest breaks where possible. Awesome tour and fabulous guide! Thank-you dear Lutfullah.

Ludwig was a fantastic tour guide - informative, funny, personable, and made sure everyone in the tour group was comfortable. It was a long day (which we expected), but we laughed and learned the whole time. I would rate him a 10 out of 5 if the app would let me.

This was an amazing tour! Lütfullah is super knowledgeable, personable, and fun, and really went out of his way to be helpful. I felt like I learned a lot and got to see most of Istanbul’s most famous sights all in one tour. I especially recommend this if you only have a day or two in Istanbul, but want to make sure you are hitting the most important spots. 10/10 would recommend this tour :)

Beautiful tour around Istanbul. Topkapi and Cistern were breathtaking.

I’ve taken many all day tours through Viator, and this one was the absolute best. Truly was a small group setting, allowing us to be nimble and flexible through all the sites. Lutfullah was our guide. He did an excellent job of navigating the group, sharing history, entrance policies to the mosques, making a suggestion for lunch and answering all our questions along the way. We covered so much ground in one day, keeping it interesting without being overwhelming or feeling run down at the end. Being able to quickly walk through lines and navigate through the large sites was a huge time saver. I will recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Istanbul.
